Time is of the essence.
I seem to live my life by the clock. Does my head in. Yet I see people who are so laid back, the Mediterranean type. Are you similar to the clock people or Mediterranean people. |

I seem to live my life by the clock too. I think we all share the same sentiment. Every individual has a set of rules. It works pretty good for me.

Joe as I am out here in Spain, and retired, you can probably guess my answer, but I do know where you are coming from, I felt exactly the same in the UK, and dead right-it done my head in too,it's some sort of frame of mind, and almost like you are afraid not to live your life by the clock, and the more you try and become more Mediterranean about it, the more the guilt sets in that your not pulling your weight, remember Joe you always have the Floyd to put it into perspective, Time.

The hurrier you go, the behinder you get? I too, am retired and time means little, I can barely discern what day of the week it is because it just does not matter any more. I sleep when I want which always makes one feel so free :-) Mediterranean all the way baby. It can happen to YOU! |

I'm kind of inbetween. I don't live by the clock as much. I'm trying to live in the moment. I don't understand why so many people have to take videos and photos. I watch things in real time, as they happen.

Hummm... I would say somewhere in the middle for me...
Most the time I'm in no hurry and do things at my own pace, same at work... I'm pretty laid back and easy going... It helps having a stress free job, where I can work at my own pace |

I think we all possess qualities of both clock and Mediterranean people.

I miss time being important for checking tides...always carried a tide table.
Otherwise would say to friends (ie), "Meet at the point for a sunset session."; no numerals needed. |

Time is of the essence. Reminds me of the time I was clerking for a lawyers. We always say "Time is of the essence" on letters to clients when enclosing documents to be signed. Come to think of it, we should have had added it too on bills. lol |

Not really a clock person since I don't work. But I do still keep an eye on time regarding going to bed, getting up and so on. Oh, and if it's time for another cig, lol. God forbid I miss out on one!
