So, there are certain things that give a guy (or gal) that 'edge' and for me one of those things is a sexy accent.
My favorites are 1.the english(the ENGLAND version, poised, gentlemanly sounding), and 2. the New York (think Blue Bloods) , and Boston (think Ben Affleck, Matt Damon) accents, they just sound ,,,masculine do you have a sexy accent? which accents do you find sexy? |

I don't think I have one, at least no one ever told me so My favorites are English, Australian, and yes I agree with you...Boston too. |

I don't find certain accents sexy. I might be more comfortable with country accents like mine but I don't hear sexiness in accents

My son in law is from Colorado, I like how he speaks. Doesn't sound too American, not the "y'all" stuff. I don't like that.
I prefer British English anyways. Love British accents :) And a Scottish accent is very sexy!! As for the rest, I like how he speaks, and his voice Dutch like me of course, so telling you where from wouldn't mean a thing to you |

do you have a sexy accent?
Not really. I've been told I have a midwestern accent. I have no idea what that means or sounds like. which accents do you find sexy?
Oklahoma accents. Not quite Kentucky, not quite Texas. With lots of organic sounding "sugar," and, "hun," with big blond hair, blue eyeshadow, and cleavage exposing shirts, that lean over to eye level of a 9 year old and offer him gum from a pack she keeps in her bra strap since neither her very tight pants or shirt has pockets. That's my favorite accent. |

I can do a few reasonable fake accents, but I don't think I have one myself. I know that usually just means I'm used to how people talk around me, but in my case it's because I was raised in the DC area by North Central Midwesterners, who are the people who have the least affected accents in America.
What's attractive? Anything I grew up associating with affection or fun. British of course, because I started school there, and because we've had tons of movies telling us that British people are "cooler" than everyone else. Except certain ones, who I can't name because the auto-anti-naughty-word filters will block it. I wonder if people who like Boston accents, do so because they associate it with snappy rich Kennedy types? Or modern rich handsome movie stars? I think it's what we associate with the accent that makes it seem "sexy." Pure Pavlovianism. |

I think it's what we associate with the accent that makes it seem "sexy." Pure Pavlovianism. Exactly. It is the concept of the exotic that people tend to find sexy, and a foreign accent can be perceived as being exotic. |

I find the Texan accent sexy.

All accents that are different than my East Tennessee accent are sexy to me, if they come from the right woman's mouth, or I can't see her.. (As in radio or CB)
Back when I traveled a lot, my accent got me a lot of positive attention from northern, and west coast women.. Many times you could see their eyes light up when I would start talking... To all those ladies... .. |

I have a friend who says, "clotheses" for the word *clothes*
She has a better grip on the nuisances of the English language than most! (Not first language) Is it possible to be "cute" and sexy at the same time |

The SCOTS just make me laugh. The REDNECKS are my FUNNY BONE favorites The Southerners I don't mind New Yorkers ?? Who needs to talk New Yorker when I speak Hebrew and Yiddish ...LOL But TRYING to Speak AUSTRALIAN with your legs crossed is the hardest.
