Topic: do you think dwayne chapman is a racist... | |

Well if Mr. Chapman is considered "white trash" , isn't that a racist statement ie skin color tied in with a negative statement?

Whatever the case, it's 2007 not 1850 and anyone that feels that it's right to say that is dumb. I guess SOME people don't know how pathetic they look to others when they talk like that. People who use that word and have views as "dog" the idiot bone headed jack ass do are pathetic.

Sorry andrew, maybe a typo but I misunderstood your earlier post. Accept my apology please.
As for the comments on how much black folks use the word. If you have ever been around black folks you would realize it is used as a term of endearment not a negative discription. And no matter, no other race should use the word in any form as a discription of a black person, ever. It is racist. There are black folks who consider it a negative influence to use it amongst themselves but it is still not used in the same context as any other race will show by using it. |

bang-bang--
oh dh!t-- |

it had nothing to do with her color but everything to do with her character.Tucker has been in jail for doing drugs.I think the Dog got emotional and went on a tear.He felt the girl was low life scum.I agree a better choice of words should have been used but it was a PRIVATE conversation between father and son and should not have been sold. The only reason it was worth money is because chapman was famous and white.
If Snoop Dog said the same thing we would not blink an eyelash. |

I have a friend who knows dog and his family quite well. If he is a racist then why is his young hot son married to a hawaiian???

Oh no shug...I have been a 911 call taker and dispatcher. Let me tell you, it ain't a "term of endearment" - that I can assure you. All I am trying to convey is you can't set boundaries in one area and have allowances in another.

From what i have seen of him he truly cares about his family and the people he captures.

Umm, you said his son is married to a hawaiian, how in god's name does that clear Dog from being a racist LOL?

I don't believe for a second he is a racist and I do believe he is sincere about changing his way of speaking and realizes the mistake he made. I think he lables people with easy to use words that have created a "picture" of his views and have become common place... not that they are right though because we know that there are racist people who do use the word to completely degrade the culture/race.
For instance, I'm sure he calls people "white trash" when he doesn't like someone who's white. Again doesn't make it right but he's consistent along that mindset. So I'm glad its out there cause now he can practice a better way to speak to people. Personally I would never use any disparaging remarks as it is not my personality to do so. Does anyone remember Al Sharpton and his Mormon remarks or Jesse Jackson and his Jew remarks?....We let them say they were sorry and moved on.... lets stop the hate and let the Dog out of the Dog House and show some Love. That does work ya know! |

what is the difference? she is not white......

Bull crap he is a racist punk and to be perfectly fair, Al Sharpton is a jack ass too.

so he is racist against blacks and not asians?
Gypsy, just because his son is married to a different race, how does that make dog non-racist? Dog can be racist even though his son, a completely seperate human being is not.
So anyone calling someone by a dergatory name is automatically a racist? If that's the case the majority of this country is "racist"
Yeah most people in this country are prejudice. But there is a diffrence between prejudice discrimination and racism.
