Sometimes I really don't know if I am happy, content or just indifferent. I have my daughters, and I am so very thankful for them. Sometimes I do wish I would have the chance to experience real love without dysfunction; Man / Woman love......I would like to know what it would be like to be so loved and important to my significant other. I would like to know what it is like to truly be IN love and have someone IN love with me.

I'm content being single. While it's nice to have someone by my side, I don't NEED to have anyone. Just want someone!

“Some Walk Alone”

You walk your road and I’ll walk mine.
If at any time we decide to cross that line.
It would be our own choice.
All we have to do is speak up let others hear our voice.
Our lives and the way we live them are up to us.
Maybe we like to be alone and tend to suppress.
Our emotions and keep others at bay.
Why would I do that then have to listen to what others say.
Now I will confess, at times it does get lonely.
When there are times you have decided to be the one and only.
So if I make the choice to walk this journey alone.
It means I have found my comfort zone.
Even though some may have a crowd
Does not mean they are not allowed.
At times to still be lonely even with others around.
You see you can take and surround.
Your self with friends and family but does not mean.
You compare your life and the one alone, yours is more serene.
There are some people that no matter what possessions.
They may acquired you can tell by their expressions.
They are happy and have found that comfort zone.
For you see we all have to go into the unknown.
If one chooses this path to walk alone for awhile at times.
They have not commented any crimes.
Nor are they seeking someone to feel sorry for them.
Just because they choose to walk alone do not condemn.
For you see one must be able too enjoy being with just one.
Before sharing lives with another and a new life is begun.

Just my thoughts one must learn to live alone and deal with the things they need to before starting a new life with another. Besides being alone is not in any way a sign of failure in any way.!!! Just means one is content with there life.

I used to be so alone and married but then one day I got a computer. I watch my married friends and it reminds me what lonliness used to feel like. Sometimes I still get lonely but all I have to do is point and click or go out to meet people.

Being alone does not always mean you are lonely. You can easily be lonely while being with someone too. Oh lord I'm starting to sound like yoda I better shut up.

ALone and lonely are two totally different things....you can be in a crowded room and still feel lonely, you can be in a relationship and still feel lonely. Being alone has its ups and downs...alone I don't have to share my bed , I don't have to please any one but my self, but at the same time I do have a desire to talk to someone else besides the cats since they never really carry their end of the conversation. I've been alone for 13 years and Iknow i can continue on being alone how ever I do not wish to be lonely any longer. I am happy with who and what I am, now I am ready to share it with someone else.

I haven't been alone for 26 years, and I still have another 8 to go....

I can't wait to be the one plate, one cup, one knife, one folk in the sink....

Maybe a fork would fit in the sink better...

After being frenchkissed by my little spitz while being sound asleep or having her sharp claws dig into my back I have been contemplating if it could be any worse than have cold feet on my back. Even though neither of the two dogs that I now have can talk we do have a good relationship. But sometimes I do wonder if another human being might be better.
