being alone has many positives.. one is sole possesion of the remote control... eating when and what I want... sleeping in if I choose to do so.. and the list continues...

I don't always hate it..It's given me Time and Space to see what I don't wish to do again. And Has helped me take a look at what I want in my future. xoxoPeaches.

I like being alone and single. I'd like to have someone to share my joy with, but it's not necessary. It would also be nice to have someone to think of when I hear a love song, or see romance somewhere.

I do like no one getting angry with me for sleeping such odd hrs. and I get the bathroom whenever I want and for as long as I want. xoxoPeaches.

I wouldn't say "happy," it's more like being resigned to the reality of it. It's like living in North Dakota and hating snow -- there's not much you can do about it, so you might as well just learn to live with it.

lol Lex..I see your analogy...however, isn't that like comparing apples and oranges?... Living in a area with snow, having to shovel snow day in and day out..not much of a choice, unless one decides to move....big decision.. Being alone or with a significant other is also a matter of choice...I don't consider myself "resigned" to the fact of being single..It's a choice that I have chosen...and am happy with the decision I have chosen..

IMO... I think you have to be ok with being alone/single before you are truly capable of loving another.
