It seems your rhetorical question is trying to imply that I have condoned such behaviour. Where in my position for equal treatment under the law for homosexuals (and everyone else, for that matter) did you read something that caused you to believe I would?

For what it's worth, I think the Supreme Court had a point when they ruled that private clubs can make rules that decide to whom the want to grant membership. Emphasis on the word _private_.

On the other hand, I don't think it helps your case to play Rush Limbaugh-- you know the technique, I'm sure, that of building strawman arguments and then conflating people's positions with them in the most intellectually dishonest way possible.

No kerry, not implying impications on you. Just stateing factual events that go on around the country. Events that seem to be ignored by the gay communitee while they speak up for their stance on family values and morals.

I didnt even know you were gay! Dont care, but shouldnt you, if you are police your own community? It might help in your quest for support.

I tolerate homosexuals, have friends who are, but it still turns my stomach to see them openly showing affection! (tonque kissing etc.) Its not homophobic, its disgusting and unnatural!

Homophobic is a strange word impounded on a straight population to try and shame them from voicing their disgust at homosexual activity!

I drove a cab for two years and Ive seen a lot of inappropriate activity from gays. Picking up homosexual couples who wanted to suck and **** in the back-seat without even asking if I mind. Generally getting them set out on the side of the road!

Oops, maybe Im confessing to a hate crime..

Is it inherently disgusting, or only your opinion that its disgusting?

I also find the self-righteousness of some gay activists sometimes annoying, when they pretend gays NEVER bring any hatred on themselves through misconduct. A lot of men are pigs, gay or otherwise, and I don't think gay ones should be 'tolerated' having sex in the sauna at the gym. But its also wrong to blame gays in general for the actions of some.

I can only speak for myself, but with comments and reactions when they see it I would have to say many of my friends also seem disgusted!!

Ive tried but I am afraid not. Its disgusting and inherently unnatural to see two men locked-down open mouthed kissing.

Let me see, if I really put my mind to it and consider it for a couple of month I might find a similarity between boys in the boy scouts that only want one thing, to be treated like others, and homosexual couples having sex in the park.
But I won't.
The thought is so much out of my line, it would defeat me.
I never had a problem to leave my son in the care of homosexuals, they were much better nannies than the girls that beat him for no reason.
And it surely opened the mind of my son as well.
He would never look down on people before he even knows them.

This has me questioning: In general, if we find something uncomfortable (or disgusting) - how do we decide whether to solve the problem externally or internally? To change our environment or change our minds? We must have other guidelines besides our disgust. I find war disgusting, and think the problem should be externally (limit the use of war). I find the odor of some homeless people disgusting, and think I should solve my emotional reaction internally.

I have many friends I can honestly say I Love. Male friends, but I dont want to diddle them or them me!

Its definitely an internal disgust. Physically I want to puke!!

My parents, too, told me that homosexuals are disgusting.
I had the chance to stumble into a homosexual community, and boy, did I learn.

Fanta, I think its commendable that you have tried to change your reaction in the past - I have a similar reaction of disapproval to public gay intimacy taken to a certain level. I don't know the answer to your question, but I do know that when I fail to take -responsibility- for my responces (to gays, to smelly homeless, whatever) then I try to blame -them- for my own response, which is usually intolerant and unfair.

But I really did mean this as a question - not rhetorical. I don't think I should have to 'tolerate' gays having sex at the gym. And if its your taxi (on lease), I don't think you should have to 'tolerate' gays getting it on in the back seat. Yet, I think we should 'tolerate' a bit of male/male affection in our society (straight or gay). Maybe my opinions are just arbitrary.

So what do we do?

Brand me as homophobic and force me to be reconditioned?

Perhaps force me to watch hours and hours of gay porn and homo sex until the revulsion and puke subsides?

My ex-wife had some gay friends, 1 was a white guy, 7 ft tall I swear, the other was black, 6 inches shorter than a dwarf! The tall one worked, the other one was his btch and would stay home.

One night after work i came home and him and my wife had been drinking. He more than her obviously. It wasn't long and this man was coming on to me, at one point he removed his shirt and sat on my lap!

Before I could knock the hell out of him my wife did. She beat his ass all around our apartment and out the door!!

About an hour later his husband came home and straight to my door. He was jealous, he was mad (because my wife had beat his up), and he had his btch (crying) with him!!

My wife was a firecracker anyway, but at this point she was exceptionally pissed. I sat back and let her take care of it, but then the tall one hit my wife.

30 minutes later after cold-cocking him (a little pun there, Im homophobic. remember) the cops showed up at my door. I didnt go to jail, because it was my word against his.

Later I learned these men, these lovers, had a history of domestic abuse. The little black one had tried three seperate times to kill the tall one. The last incident he had tried to poison him and had it not been for paramedics he would have succeeded!!

Another time years later, I was awakened in the middle of the night by a loud banging on my door. It was 3 am, and when I went to the door it was my lesbian neighbor. She was screaming about her girl and trying to push past me to come in.

I was like, give me a break......
Well my brother had been staying with me for a couple of months, and it turns out he was diddleing her girlfriend in his bedroom as this was happenning.

Hes really homophobic, and it appears he likes lesbians that forget they made a choice!!!

Yep, the gay communitee needs to police its own!!!
