Well bro I am the guy..Spiritual lessons..well im not sure if this is what you mean but here it goes..I have learned that with gods help,and martial arts I have a profound peace in my life.I have found that as a warrior,You dont have to be mean.The lord has givin me the ability to be a warrior and the wisdom to know compassion.He has taught me the meaning of arrogance,And why I was so wrong being arrogant.

It is really odd that I have found the true meaning of respect through martial arts.But im A firm believer that god will show you in your life(no matter what you do),That he is there and helping you..You just have to open your heart and mind and listen..

Today is a day the lord hath made. Lord, I ask that You enable me to rejoice and be glad in this day.
Geography is one of my favorite topics. I would love to take a class on where things are. There was a time when I would boast that I have been within 50 miles of where you live. In most cases this is true. I have been blessed in that I have traveled far and wide. I have covered this country and our neighbor to the North in fine detail, criss-crossing the country each week and being able t pick and choose the routes I would take.
I know from my own experience, that the best way to learn geography is to go to each of the places you are asked to study, see the people, find it on the map and navigate there. Find out what is next to it, what is the character of the place.
Right now I seem to be anchored to a solid rock as it were. Hard to keep up on what is where when the vista from where I am is stagnant. I have a longing to get out and go again. Give me a lap top and a credit card, and off I go. My feet itch. Four five years a lugged an Olivetti typewriter in my knapsack. If I was to light out today, I would want to have word processing.
I have a hankering to travel the highways and byways of the Bible. That would be a geography lesson that I am just not getting from looking at the maps. Wouldn’t it be great to travel the route of Jesus and of Saul from Tarsus, later Paul? Then when we read the scriptures, we would know what they were referring to. God, I ask for wisdom. I ask to be used by You. You have given me many wonderful experiences. I ask that my life not be wasted painting homes for the immigrants who are flooding this part of the world. I ask, if it is your will Lord, that You give me a new geography lesson, and that I, like Jesus and Paul, will be asked to go out to the uttermost parts of the earth and spread You gospel message.

Good Morning all........Hope everyone is having just the beautiful Tuesday, and for others it might be another day of the week as we are talking to people all over the world here. Kinda amazing if you think about it.

I have a lil testimony that I would like to share. I have been taking a class called Breaking Free with Beth Moore. I asked my girlfriend to attend with me which she has been and it's been changing her life. The greatest part is seeing it day to day and week to week the changes in her and the calm that has come over her..........Praise God. I got a call this morning from her but I was not here and it was on the answering machine just telling me again all that God is doing in her life......I just said out loud praise God and amen.

An update on my situation.

Last Friday when I went in to get my paperwork for a specific license I needed for my new job, I was informed that it takes 30-45 days to get the license and you can not work at the establishment at all until you have this license in hand. Two steps forward, one step back. Okay..with a deep breath, I completed the paperwork over the weekend, but at the same time, I continued to sibmit my resume for some temp jobs to tide me over until this "real" job could begin.

First thing yesterday morning (8:30 am, man that's early for a business call) I received a call asking me to come in for an interview at a different place. Cool.

Today...I got a call from the "real" job. I start tomorrow! YAY!!!

Thank you, Lord, for giving me the strength to get thru this! And thank you to all my friends for believing in me!
