Good morning all.....I hope everyone had as blessed Sunday as I have had so far. We did the unveiling of the new church led sign.....Its been my baby for the last 4 years with all the red tape and planning depart....I cried and I was so happy. Both Jack and I looked at each other with tears of joy....that it was finally over and soooooooo beautiful. God Bless all and have a wonderful rest of the day....

On another thread I noticed a post from Chae:
As the band was playing...I sat there...I fought back tears many times. I felt...overwhelmed. The service was good. One line that stuck in my head...and there were many...but this one in particular meant alot. "I could tell you what to do, but that would make this religion. We're not here to preach religion. We're here to build a relationship with God"

I annoit you Lord God, I thank you for all that you are doing in Chae's life Father God.....I humbly ask Lord that you keep Chae's heart open. She is going through some amazing stuff....This doesn't mean she won't have bad times, But with you by her side Father God.......she will know that you are there, that you wont ever forsake her. Thank you for giving her the courage to step into that church Father God.....Give her wisdom when she needs it, and please Father God bring awesome Christian people into her path to help her on her walk. In your precious name this I pray

i am beyond excited about chae! she emailed me too. i told that there are no such thing as coincidences, that is God working in her life. funny thing is, she has been on my friends list for awhile. we occasionally emailed each other to vent. now i am her sister in Christ. im in such a great mood tonite.

aaah winnie that is so awesome......Well the Lord doesn't makes mistakes when he puts people in the paths of awesome Christians. We are truly blessed this lil family....And thats what we are.....A Family in Christ.....

ok, i have to share:
my friend jimmy has NEVER allowed me to talk about God or even tell him that i am praying for him b/c he says that he is not on good terms with God due to the tragedies in his life. he said the last time he talked to Him, he cussed Him out and he did not want to offend me, his friend, with his views. well, a couple of weeks ago, my friend had his heart broken along with a lot of things happening in his life and actually asked me to pray for him. of course i did and i felt the presence of the Lord as i prayed. the next day, jimmy calls and says "what did you pray?" he wouldnt tell me what happened until i told him my prayer. apparently God was moving in his life the very next day! he told me to keep praying for him b/c he thinks i have the inside line with God. lol i told him he should thank God and even have a "chat" with him. he said he would and i told him i would keep praying. i can now discuss the Lord with him in small doses! im not going into the details of what i prayed or what happened out of respect for his privacy. but he called me tonite to tell me how great things are going in his life and things are looking up! praise God!

Our God listens and answers the prayers lifted up to Him in rightiousness.

Our sermon tonight was given by the missionary our church has sent to Japan. He is a gifted speaker. It felt tonight like he was talking straight to me and my situation. God is great and talks to us in many ways. He talks to us through prayer, circumstance, through the word of the Bible, through other Christians and through our local churches. I feel like I know better the will of our Lord tonight.
Winnie, it sounds like you do have God’s ear. That is great!

It's funny to me that people want to blame God when things go bad...and when things are great he doesn't even enter into the picture!! Why is that....

I thank God no matter what. I remember when I almost lost my husband last year at Thanksgiving. I never once got mad at God.....I just leaned on him more and knew beyond a shadow of a dount that he was going to heal my lil pookey....and to the dropped jas of the doctor's who came out and said, "We don't know how, but he is alive and vitals are getting stronger by the minute." I just looked up and said I know how.....
They just left shaking their heads.

Wow, praise God, I left to decorate the tree and say a few prayers and what amazing things have been happening.
