Actually, the verse says, "You shall not murder."
It is up to the state to define what is murder.

No sir it is not. "Murder" is the unlawful taking of a life. That's not seclusive to what law as in this city's law, this/that state's law, this/that country's law, ect. God's law says to turn the other cheek, and please no one present old testament laws with eye for an eye. That is not our law, our law in the nt law and God has said to turn the other cheek. Therefor again any taking the life of another would be essentially murder. So "thou shalt not murder, pertains to the taking of anybody's life.

How can one have a choice about the life over another? Who's to say their life is more important then the other? Who's to say they don't want that life to continue any longer? Because life happens at conception. The only thing that happens at birth is that life comes out into the world.

You're looking at it from the woman's perspective. Yes it would be a hard "burden" to bare. But this is still a being's life we're speaking of. Regardless if that "fetus" can feel the pain or not. It's taking SOMEBODY'S life away from them before they have a chance to live it again never experiencing anything good or bad. And bottom line it's unjustifiable therefor murder. As there is no justifiable reason to take the life of an entirely innocent life over any case... please give a case where it's justifiable to take the life of a being that hasn't done anything at all possible to deserve such a thing.

What are your qualifications? Men have no clue! Yes some can be sympathetic but can't possibly know. Have you been raped? Have you been pregnant? Have you gotten pregnant from a rape? I think I am more qualified to speak on the matter than men.

Can you imagine what a victim goes through carrying the baby? Right or wrong she went through hell and a bawy will remind her. If she can keep it or adopt it and carry on with her life...bless her. But many can't

Uh, in Exodus 21, God instructs the Israelites to execute people who deliberately commit acts of murder.

In the Old Testament, God instructs Israelites to kill certain groups of people.

So, did God order those Israelites to murder?

Answer: No, because murder isn't just the taking of anyone's life.
It is the act of deliberately killing a Human without the approval of the government.

Did I ever specifically say it was a "sin", was that where my object of direction? No, it's still the taking of a life. Again regardless of if the fetus can feel it or not, it's the taking of a beings life. And what reason is that ever justified? Especially again when the one loosing their life has done absolutely nothing to deserve it? Or even deeper, ever will have the chance or the ability to deserve it.

If God instructed it, it's not "unlawful" for God is law. So still not "murder". And to your "answer" comment, it's still taking the life of another. Just one is lawful and the other isn't. It would in the end only ever be lawful if God instructed it and or permitted it. Outside of that, it would never be lawful. City's, States, Country's, ect laws mean absolutely nothing on the level of God's law(s) for God is above all and any of those.

1. Being pregnant without the father around

2. Being raped.

No I have not been raped, nor pregnant, nor combination of either. But nevertheless it isn't mine nor your choice on the matter, for he is greater. Adoption would always be a choice if you didn't wish to keep the child after a rape. But it's not the child's fault for how he/she was "birthed", so why punish the child and refuse her/him any chance to ever experience anything of life? Good, bad, happy, sad, and or any combination of any. That child isn't a "piece of property" somebody is never in the "possession" of another person, and therefore no one has any power over if you live/exist or not.

No I'm not God, but what did the child do to deserve to loose it's life? To never experience the feeling of grass between their toes?

I don't see the connection between the woman having had a major trauma happen to her and punishing a child to never experiencing anything in life, but ending their life as soon as it was possibly going to start.
