I sometimes wonder if the Earth is hell. Watching the news sometimes it seems to be for some people.
I suppose it depends on how lucky or unlucky you are to be born in a geographical sense.

I agree, I was just reading an article on widows made by boko haram. They have nothing to look forward to but death. We are so blessed to live in the countries we do.

some might say.. what difference does it make .. when you are dead you're dead.... it is not like you can come back and tell your friends..
... ohhh.... you have to come check out hell it is so hot here..lol..
... in hell you get tortured..
.. without a body you're not going to feel anything.... and in heaven you receive enlightenment.. without a brain to comprehend this.... not going to happen..... and again doesn't matter what happens..... the.. you ,you isn't going to be along for the ride..lol

the winner?... if you put it that way... seems to open a different can of worms...

the winner cant be declared until the end comes... whos gonna declare it?

laugh laugh  whoever wins

lol... not much sense in that... haha

i'm just saying that people think alike, but not exactly alike... everyone's right and wrongs are slightly different, or in some cases extremely different... like saying "you put ketchup on your hot dog???" vrs "you killed my son, now i kill you"... the guy avenging his son would be thinking he is right, no matter what we may think, or what the law says...there's a big gray area on lots of situations right now, like gay marriage...the gays are convinced they're right, others think it's wrong and immoral, sin, and wrong... who's right and whos wrong? depends on what side your on...

exactly... it then becomes a matter of perception...
many who claim to be right can easily justify themselves and have others believe so... it doesnt necessarily mean that they are really right....
on the flipside, there are those who are punished and persecuted despite having done the right thing, and yet they are perceived to be wrong...
it becomes subjective based on who's yardstick is being used to measure... which makes things quite pointless in the end ...unless, there is a universal basis for everything...
so, like i said... earth is not hell, earth is earth, and we do not get to choose heaven or hell while we're here... but we simply have an opportunity to prove ourselves, for where we will ultimately end up in...

i think...
one's entry to heaven or hell does not happen immediately after death...

Hell happens immediately. "Hell" is the grave. And is why when Jesus returns to judge us Hell will give up it's dead for judgement.

Revelation 20:13

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

quite right

13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

i was referring to the lake of fire,..

I believe the person who posted this question at the beginning meant to say, 'Is there a Heaven and a Hell... ?' (And So Forth)

On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night

There she stood in the doorway;
I heard the mission bell
And I was thinking to myself,
'this could be heaven or this could be hell'
Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor,
I thought I heard them say...

Welcome to the hotel california
Such a lovely place
Such a lovely face
Plenty of room at the hotel california
Any time of year, you can find it here

Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
'relax,' said the night man,
We are programmed to receive.
You can checkout any time you like,
But you can never leave!

Believe me, my life has been nothing but hell so I believe I will go to Heaven because I have not gotten revenge on the monsters who did what they did to me and my kids!

[ Rhetorical Question Here ]

Is every act of retribution an assumption God's vindictiveness is with You ?

Yes, at the end of the day You'll probably not know about it...

That's why it'll take several more days when Your life is over, before You'll notice something different. spock

Permit me to but in but I too differ some what because the desision is not ours to make you see we did not created our selves to deside who goes to heaven or hell as far as I'm concerned there is no proof of either end why would we go to heaven if we where no made there.
And the problem of hell is jus a idea thought by Dante in the great comedy long ago look it up in the history book.
Any way I dont know if every one believes in one God creator of all well he makes the final desision of where you be in the time of Christ's second return to rule over the worl for one thousand years all this is in the bible and by it we will be judged.

Yes Christ went to hell when he died that means he was buried in the thumb for three days and three nights.

Jesus Christ is the judge Leo.

And we won't go to "Heaven" persay. Heaven was made for the Angels. But after the second coming, there is a new Earth and a new Heaven which will be joined together and is where we will reside with the great God almighty Jesus Christ.

smile2 Yes, God Almighty most certainly put his 'thumb' down when it came to Jesus being buried in the tomb for three day and three nights.

But also, Jesus' spirit was made to go down to minister to other Souls in dense pits of Tartarus.

(Matthew 12: 40)

(Luke 11: 30)

(2nd Peter 2: 4)

Jesus Christ is the judge, Leo.

While Jesus will be a judge, it is only by the Almighty God's leave.

Jesus will be a the right-hand of God Almighty (The Metaphorical Father) with a great crowd of other witnesses of the True God, as well.

The assumption that Jesus is Almighty God would be erroneous, and veneration and worship that will be directed toward Jesus will be sternly condemned.

(Matthew 7: 21)

(Hebrews 7: 7)
