Before they could say "I do," President Obama needed to play through.

Two Army soldiers reportedly had to relocate their Hawaii wedding over the weekend so the commander-in-chief could play golf.

Bloomberg reports that the Army captains, Natalie Heimel and Edward Mallue Jr., had planned to get married at the 16th tee box at Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course, on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, on Sunday.

But just as they were finishing their wedding rehearsal on Saturday, they were told they'd have to move -- to accommodate the president's round the following day.

"It was emotional, especially for her -- she's the bride and in less than 24 hours they had to change everything they had planned," Mallue's sister Jamie McCarthy told Bloomberg.

The couple reportedly ended up moving to a lush site overlooking the 16th hole, which one of the wedding planners said was more secluded and prettier anyway.

The White House may not have even known about the wedding in advance.

And after Bloomberg asked the White House about the incident, Obama apparently tried to make it right.

McCarthy told Bloomberg the president called the bride to apologize and congratulate them. "Made their day," she said.

A source familiar with the incident confirmed the phone call to Fox News.

Still, the incident proved fast fodder for the president's critics.

"I usually say at least he isn't doing something harmful when he's playing golf..." Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., quipped on Twitter, linking to a story on the relocated wedding.

THEN he says he's going to make things right. Does he postpone or cancel his golf game (Lord knows, he's able to do that since he has played more golf while in office then any other President in history)? Nope. Does he offer them some extra time off work (which he can do because they are Navy Captains? Nope. Does he make a surprise appearance (not like that's making things right)? Nope. Does he send a gift? Nope. Does he help pay for the wedding or the cost to relocate it, so he could play golf? Nope. Does he offer one of the Presidential Limos? Nope. Does he send flowers? Nope. Does he do any of a hundred things in his power to make things right? Nope.

What does he do? Exactly what any narcicistic sociopath does He gives them a 2 minute phone call thinking he will grace them.

This is a perfect example of someone who has no respect, appreciation or courtesy for the men and women in the military who have put their lives on hold and on the line for our way of life and our freedom and Obama cant even show the respect of postponing his game, skipping his game etc. FUBO!

I doubt that President Obama personally schedules the times and places of his golf games.

The golf course, located on the Marine Corps Base Hawaii, is a regular stop for Obama when he's in the state, with the Ko’olau Mountains framing the front nine and majestic views of Pacific coastline spanning the back nine. It's also a favorite spot for Mallue, a golfing enthusiast.

Still, anyone planning an event at the course when the president may be in town is warned about the potential for last-minute shuffling, said Naile Brennan, manager of K Bay Catering, which was handling logistics for the wedding. Brennan said they had other sites ready to go, and the couple ended up choosing the lush, green lawn near the home of Colonel Eric Schaefer, the commanding officer of the base, which offers an elevated view near the 16th hole.

I am disappointed in you, for being the Fuhrer's number one cheerleader you took a long time to blindly come to his defense.

He may not schedule them, but a prolific golfer picks the Tee times and locations and the Secret Service knows every event that goes on at the course the President plays at then informs his office of what's going on at the golf courses to prevent scandals etc.

The newlyweds got what they wanted after all. If they aren't complaining about President Obama, then why should anyone else complain?

At least if you gonna use (inappropriate) titles, get the spelling right ..
And why you ppl need to knock Obama and call him by a title that is related to an inhuman monster is beyond me.
The man called the couple to apologize, made their day! Some would say it's ridiculous that the so called most powerful man in the world would have to apologize for something he prolly didn't even have knowledge of.

Meanwhile, in the real world, the little dictator just issues his commands and all others be damned. Seems to be a trait of all the little psychopaths that believe they are gods even when bound by strings of his master gods.

And to think Odumbo to be so pretentious as to call and bride and apologize for ruining her dream while he still maintains the intention to do so.

And to think that this one would condone such actions cannot be questioned. By the way tees do not have holes other than the a-holes like Odumbo as they transition there.
