A large klueless kun klucks are already in Ferguson, have been there for decades, they are the Ferguson police without the stupid looking sheets for costumes. This ^^ is just another form of bigotry and hatred. Many people who work for the police are putting their lives on the line to protect others. Equating the Ferguson police to the KKK is just hate-mongering, and has nothing to do with the facts. You are painting an entire workforce with one broad, hateful brush. Many black police officers across the nation have reported harassment by fellow officers. The kkk have been involved in lynchings while wearing a law enforcment uniform. Several Presidents of the United States were kkk sympathizers, supporters or downright members. The ADL along with groups such as Klan Watch have recently reported that Klan membership has risen drastically since Obama's inauguration. There was once approximately 2 million klan members. I hardly doubt they all moved to neverland. The Klan consists of segments of white society. The klan are most successful in recruiting law enforcement and those with military background. |

Ras, you list several claims about the KKK which I'm going to assume are correct.
However, none of them justify accusing the police force of being KKK members in general. If you really look at it, this makes as much sense as saying that 'all [insert race here] people are [insert quality]' and then providing statistics showing that *some* of them are. This is why I said that your post was simple bigotry and hatred. How would you feel if I said that black people are thieves, and then provided statistics on numbers of black people convicted of theft? THIS is what all of us should be working to move past. |

I could be wrong, but a brief scan of the internet makes it look like those "over 2 million" numbers you mentioned may have been true OVER 50 years ago.
I hardly doubt they all moved to neverland.
I think those that are still alive have probably moved to old folks homes. |

Yeah, of course they've passed on their hatred to young soft headed whites, especially males, especially those without critical thinking skills, and especially those who are looking for someone to hate. Though they are nearly universally reviled in our comparatively progressive culture, so their numbers dwindle with every generation.
Yet today lots of people are passing on their unjustified, unjustifiable hatred towards all white people, or towards all police officers. You started by saying that the Ferguson cops were KKK, which is a bigoted , hateful thing to say. How many do you think are ACTUALLY KKK, hate mongering aside? 1% ? 0.1% ? Possibly none? Then you say that there were so many million KKK, as if they might still be around and active. They aren't. Those millions of KKK are dead or infirm. Now, finally, you say something which is both true and relevant: white supremacist groups are still around. Which is true, and something to be concerned with, but it doesn't justifying spreading lies about (and hatred towards) the police. Hey, how do you think we fight the white supremcasists? Should we do it by adoping their bigoted tactics and by imitating their manipulative rhetoric and their stances (just change the colors) - or should we try to rise above all of that? |
