Are you Cool within your own skin? Can you take all the gossip with a grain of salt? Have you made it past life"s (mediocre speedbumps). I guess what I am asking is, are you REALLY beyond "what people say"? "Sticks and Stones"............HURT! I welcome all platitudes and cliche's!!!!!! |

Hahaha....I think so look at my/our thread that has polarized plenty of people.....and a bit of mud has been thrown.....same as in real life in my past.....so no biggie

I'd like to say I don't give a flying f--k what any one thinks of me but the truth is I do.
I'm very sensitive to criticism as well and as much as I try not too, I do take criticism personaly. As for the saying, sticks and stones may break my bones but whips and chains excite me. |

Yep; I am cool within my own skin. I don't care what anyone thinks of me and I do as I please. You only have one life to live and you have to live it in a way to make yourself happy; not others.

There was a time when I let everything bother me that I read in forums (not just here), now I just just ignore it. Same as offline.

It only matters to self.
You have to consider the source of (I'm assuming a negative?), RL or online. Usually after pondering it, I don't GAF. Otherwise, positive is all good.

Winter is coming and my mittens are almost finished!
But honestly everyone wants to be liked and be part of the gang. It is normal social interaction. However it helps to remember these two rules. What someone else thinks of you is none of your business. And You don't have to believe everything you think. You can have a difference of opinion and still be kind to each other. |

ive come to terms with the fact that im not going to be rich thin or tall, but that's fine because im not poor I could outrun most in a race and as long as they have stepladders I can reach the top shelves in supermarkets. if people don't like it they can well kiss my sizable round behind lol.
