I have believed from the beginning, as with most media reporting, that time is needed to reveal more 'facts' I have believed from the beginning that rioting is defeatist activity. I have also believed that peaceful assembly is a valuable weapon in the arsenal for change. I don't believe in a 'reverse racism' I do believe it is very reasonable for people to become upset (as I do) when an unarmed teen or unarmed non teen is shot dead,,,,by someone paid to protect the community. I am glad they are reveling more facts since they are finally showing what really happened, not the thugs multiple versions he gave to the police and to the media. You don't have to be armed to be a threat to someone else's life. This was a violent thug who was out committing multiple crimes like Burglary, Robbery, Petty Larceny, Battery, Battery on an elderly man (elderly enhancement) Jaywalking, Disrupting Traffic, Failing to obey a Lawful order, attacking a police officer etc. (I can't wait for the toxicology reports to come back because he will be coming back with drugs in his system, after all he was stealing the cigars to put weed in them). |

I live just 30 min from fergoson,its only getting worse with al sarptin,sturing up the ppl,he should be helping calm things down,but instead for two days now he is rallying the protesters up,telling the to take to the streets,getting every body all pizzed off,thats what thay want to teach there kids,dont talk things out in a calm manner,go out in the streets and burn your own area up,the very stores thay were just shopping at,I dont get it,,, the looting and rioting has been off and on for a while before Sharpton got there and he is calling for unity rallys and raising up the arms in symbolism, not for rioting and not for 'not talking about things in a calm matter' the constitution does allow for peaceful assembly about grievances,,,,Sharpton calls for such activism,, not for rioting really? how long was he airing on the television and how long did you get to watch him? just curious? local CH fox news broke in so thay could air his statement live,he talked for about ten min,thay showed the whole thing,now you dont have to be curious any moor,your welcome,, Don't waste your time and energy. Wow, so I wonder if the thugs best friend is going to change his story again? This autopsy proves that the thugs best friend lied. He was not shot in the leg or from behind while he was surrendering.
Now the African American community is up in arms because they don't like the results of the autopsy that the FAMILY requested with the doctor THEY requested and they are now sending the National Guard in to deal with the situation. Just as in the case with Trayvon, the story that is presented by the activist community is incompatible with the facts as they later emerged. That video changes everything for me, and I'm glad it was published. To talk about 'character assassination' in an effort to spin the facts is just terrible. Brown publicly assassinated his own character when he robbed that store. Maybe his parents assassinated his character by failing to raise him better than they did. 1) This guy had just grabbed, shoved, and intentionally intimidated an elderly gentleman half his size. This says something not just about his character and disposition, but also his state of mind and brain chemistry, just 10 minutes or so before the interaction with the police. 2) Isn't the guy in the video also the 'witness'? I'm just stunned by how dishonest the activist community is being about this event. The damn 'witness' everyone is quoting while they fan the flames of hatred towards the police was an accomplice to a crime! I'm watching this d-bag get interviewed on TV, spinning a horrible tale of police mis-conduct... and then I watch him participate in a robbery! wtf. I'm hugely disappointed with the more visible portions of the anti-racist activist community in recent years. Spin and lies seems to be all they care about, the truth doesn't matter as long as they can incite passion by mis-representing events. I too was waiting for the facts to come out on this before I developed an opinion. Actually the video I was referencing wasn't the video of the Robbery, it's a video of a guy filming what happened the day of the shooting and you hear him and other people talking about how Brown attacked the cop while they were filming. The video from the store did it for me. Because of my job, I deal with this type of situation on a daily basis. Strong Arm Robbery is no joke. Also his friend stated they were taking the cigars to use for Marijuana (another crime). Plus his friend has changed his story at least four times. He should be charged with several crimes and if you watch the entire video he was involved with the theft, he was in the store pointing out which cigars to steal. Then you see Brown after he pushes the old man down turn around and come back in to go after him a second time. That right there is VERY telling. I have been doing Loss Prevention since the late 90's. I catch about 40-60 people a month, multiple that by about 16 years, I have caught over 1,000 people. They only put up a fight because they are just trying to get away. I have only had that happen to me twice where someone either sticks around to fight or comes back after the store employee or myself. Typically they fight so they can run as they just want to get the hell out of there and they know it increases the charges. That right there shows Brown was a thug with a violent temperament. |
