People here personally opposed to one-night stands have already cited practical reasons for avoiding one-night stands, reasons having nothing to do with religion. Why would you want a person to participate in a one-night stand if that person doesn't want to? |

. it has nothing to do with... love.. are wanting a relationship.... it is purely animalistic.. of course...this is precisely the reason those of us who dont have one night stands, dont have them. we arent looking to be animalistic. not telling you to be any different than what you are, just sayin I wont be any different either. Different strokes..  Everyone is entitled to choices, and each will need to accept the consequences, good or bad. I don't have to live the way other people choose to live and vice versa. |

and here's a point.. for the most part when you're in a one night stand..
you don't really know its a one night stand.. I mean generally you don't say by the way this is the one time we're going to do this.. it just happens.. that has been my experience.. you don't plan it.... so the question might be.. are you easy.. do you tend to let your urges override your brain... .. and that's we're !not using a condom falls in place... you get carried away. let your needs override.. your practical self.. the self that says.. but I don't have a condom.. then your needs.say.. forget the condom.... .. |

because basically that is what a one night stand is.. it is the 4 feeling. of your needs. your desires. your lust.
or perhaps your abandonment issues. are what other issues you may have. . that allows you to. 4 go with the customary. getting to know each other better part.. .. generally. these people. including myself. have a compulsive nature. .. they need for instant gratification. .. it does not make it wrong.. it is just a different way of doing things.. I know a lot of friends.. of mine.. met their spouses.. by having a one night stand with them... . go figure that out.. |

Okay I only have one night stand in my bedroom.....
 here's my ramble.... when I first joined mingle a one night stand is what I thought I wanted. I was at a dark point and didn't care about my morals and had no respect for myself. ( Not saying anyone who supports one night stands have no morals but speaking personally only. ) one night stands just aren't for me.... I'm very blessed to have met a great guy on here who reminded me of that. He talked to me and honestly kept me occupied mentally and emotionally... Otherwise I would have done some thing I would have regretted. For me i say no thank you. Its just not me. Where as its fun to fantasize about it... I'd rather share myself that way with someone who respects, cares and loves me. You know have that connection or what ever...lol. just my ramble... |

lots more anger and insult is being directed at people who dont care for one night stands than those who do. I guess they dont like the logical reasoning behind it so theyre trina make it about religion.
