“Time To Say Goodbye”


There finally comes a time that we must walk away.
That time has finally come my way.
I have been here now for one year.
As I write this and shed a tear.
Remembering the things that some have said.
I thank you all for my poems you have read.
The kind words you each have left behind.
And for standing beside me as I spoke my mind.
I wish you all the best in life.
May it be free from strife.
May all your dreams come true.
In all the things you decide to do.
I hope you each find the one you think the world of.
And in return they will also give there love.
Many here have touched my heart.
I really don’t know where to start.
There is so many that has encouraged me to write.
With each poem the flame seem to ignite.
I have laughed at times till I almost fell out of my chair.
Your friendships have made me feel like a millionaire.
Anytime someone was sad and life got them down.
All they had to do is look around.
There was always a friend.
That would talk to them till the feeling would end.
But sometimes there comes a time one must go.
I want each and everyone to know.
My friendship to each was real.
With my poems I have learned to deal.
With the feelings that came from my heart.
At times upon the pages they seemed like a work of art.
I will always remember this place.
As I hold you all in my heart and embrace.
You see for now I feel the need to roam.
It has come the time to find a new home.
As I turn and walk away.
Hear my words as I say.
