For 2 years a man was having an affair with an Italian woman.

One night she confided in him that she was pregnant. Not wanting
to ruin his reputation or his marriage, he paid her a large sum of
money to return to Italy to secretly have the child. If she stayed in
Italy to raise the child, he would also provide child support until the
child turned 18.

She agreed, but asked how he would know when the baby was born.
To keep it discrete, he told her to simply mail him a post card with
the word "Spaghetti' written on the back. He would then arrange for
the child support payments to begin.

Then one day about 9 months later, he came home to his confused wife.

'Honey!,' she said, 'you received a very strange post card today.'

'Oh, just give it to me and I'll explain it later,' he said. The wife obeyed
and watched as her husband read the card, turned white and fainted.

On the card was written:

Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti.
3 with meatballs, 2 without!
Send extra sauce.

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind.

She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her.

She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.'

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend.

He asked her,'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?'

The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him.

Her boyfriend left her in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.'

This is how the human brain often works when our status changes.
Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who was always by their side in the most painful situations.

Life Is a Gift

Today before you say an unkind word -
Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion.

But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another -

Solidifying for many, that the world's just unfair.

With a search below the surface,
Consuming 69 days of strife,
A nation bound by hope,
United 33 with life.

As Brazil and Australia embraced their mothers,
It's clear that times were changing,
With Chile and the Brits electing others,
Our politics - they were a' raging.

After years of confinement,
A Junta released their prey,
And pressures in red shirts,
Did not subside without dismay.

As Mother Nature took her course,
20 million fell to their knees,
With floods and earthquakes devastating,
Followed by a volcano, that refused to seize.

A winter wonder was embraced,
With an ocean-side city as it's face,
While a country once divided,
Played host to a game in which hope resided.

As the Saints did march on in,
The Giants were destined to win,
And Lord Stanley did return,
To a city where wind's the norm.

As Canadains did await,
On a very uncertain fate,
The Kid brought us glory,
Closing the first chapter of his story.

With Beiber learning to tweet,
The world fell at his feet,
And Gaga, she pushed on,
Growing her monumental con.

The book of face hit 500,
And google pushed farther east,
But Mark was met with a portrait,
And China unleashed their cyber beast.

A new chapter Harry did tell,
As his trio cast a spell,
And the 3D wave pushed on,
Making storytelling much more fun.

And man upon a horse,
Did change the advertising course,
While the peas emerged from pods,
Setting records - making them gods.

A musician was denied entry,
Into a race he'd surely have won,
But a nation made it clear,
That it was not all about fun.

And an apple took its place,
Along side the price of gold,
While billionaires doled wealth,
In hopes of a future untold.

As the year comes to begin,
Let hope remain strong,
As we search for 12 long months,
That are completely free of wrong.

And as we unite through hope,
Let intellect guide our way,
For tomorrow is, simply put,
Another better day
