Just an observation; will take ALOT of people to finance this. Going to be hard for most to travel & pay that.

@Oldsage...not to worry Oldsage, we will not book a place which is too expensive for anyone if not that many people show up. We have other options. We will make it feasible for everyone to attend. We just need to know who wants to come for sure by let's say May 15th, so we can book an appropriate place. Actually it might be beneficial to ask everyone what the maximum is they would like to spend per night for accommodations and we can work from there. The main thing is to get us together, not so much the place we stay, although we would like everyone to be pleased with the location. The main thing we need is a definite commitment on who wants to come and how much their max amount for lodging would be and we will find a place, I promise. So keep your input coming in guys. Please take into consideration this is a first for me and I'm learning as well....but we will pull this off and hopefully everyone will be pleased and eager to attend.

Missy - What happened to the other 7 that were committed for the meetup earlier. I thought there were 11 who were planning to attend for sure. I don't know what others feel but I would be comfortable with 50.00 a night for lodging. Of course I would be happy if it were less.

That's extremely coincidental because I was looking at the same "Flipkey" properties and there are so many options it's incredible. We are definitely going to need some input though as to maximum budgets so we know what we will have to work with before booking a place. So guys and gals let us know on this thread or send me a PM. I'll change my filters till May 15 to enable everyone to get back with me by personal message or if you'd like to post your info here, you are most welcome to do so. I'm so excited!

Well, I haven't heard from one of the original 11, since posting this, and Vivian will not be able to make it Husker so that leaves 9 committed so far, if no one else drops out. Plus we have some maybe's from other states who would like to attend but have not committed for sure. We'll get it worked out, we just need some patience and a little organization. We'll get everything together. Keep up a positive vibe!

I'll be honest at this time I can not guarantee I will be able to go. So plan it without me and if by chance I can closer to the date maybe there will still be room.

I just have so much going on right now with home repairs and car repairs and a few trips already planned out of town.

Oh Txsgal, sorry you won't be making the meetup, really wanted to meet you, hope you will be able to make it even if it's a last minute decision. On the upside, another person has confirmed as coming to the meetup! So far most people have stated that $50 a night sounds good on accommodations. Is everyone okay with this figure?
