Read this and was looking at the pictures of Amarillo that meet is going to be hard to beat. For 250 a night we fit 10 people 2 cabins. Drinking wasn't allowed but in our cabins and the secluded area we had no problem.

We'll certainly try to work with Viv's schedule if she could let us know when she could make it either late Sept or early Oct. I asked her previously on this thread but she has not replied yet. She had previously stated she may be helping her grandson move to the West Coast. So, if she'll get back to us here we'll try very hard to accommodate her and her schedule.

We've had some very nice offers for helping in any way possible with this meet, and I would sincerely like to thank those persons. We're looking forward to a great meet whether the crowd is big or small. I can hardly wait!!

Has a date been decided on for sure yet? Want to put it on my calendar as soon as we have it so I don't let anything interfere! This is going to be so much fun. But sure wish Viv was going to make it as I have heard good things about her and would love to meet her.

We're thinking between the latter two weekends of September up through the first weekend in October, but it's not a definite. We will need more input from everyone attending. So give us your input guys and gals!

Any of those dates are fine with me. I think we just need to make a decision and get it going. If we want the house on LBJ lake do we need to make a deposit or something?

I need to make some phone calls on this as to exactly what is required, but supposedly arrivals are scheduled for Friday evening, through Saturday, and departure expected on Sunday, probably by 3 p.m., but this requires verification. Let's say we'll tentatively set the dates as being Friday Sept. 26 through Sunday 28. We call always change to a later date if this does not work out good for everyone, since October is wide open at this point as far as the house reservations are concerned. Please get back with me with your input as to this date ASAP, then we can definitely reserve it. Deposit on the house, if we take this one, is due 1 month prior to the reservation date.
