I do love the spring time in England, birds are singing, country sides coming alive, everyone seems a whole lot friendlier in the spring :)
What's your favourite time of the year |

Spring is definitely refreshing after a hard winter.
Autumn is my favorite tho. Very colorful, all the fall festivals and jumping in the fallen leaves. Love Autumn! |

Since the title of this thread says "Great Britain" instead of "England", let's talk about how great the nation of Scotland is.
Here is some snack food for us: Here is something to drink: By the way, Britain is called that because Caesar mispronounced the name of the Pretanic Islands. |

Great, West Texas here.
Honey bees are out and no flowers yet. I put them out some honey water. I'll keep some in the garden so when the plants start blooming, they can do their thang. |

England describes the country, Great Britain describes the Empire - less colonial holdings.
Great Britain includes Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Orkneys, the Channel Islands, you name it. actually "England" is technicallly just Northumberland and a smatch of west cost harbour. Also where the Vikings mostly invaded, except the west coast bit. Probably why Eastenders are so droll. |

Dodo, Scotland is part of Great Britain ... I know that. In case you didn't notice, the title of this thread says "Great Britain", but the OP mentions only England, as if Great Britain were England only. I responded by mentioning Scotland, because it, too, is a part of Great Britain, which means that if Great Britain is great, then Scotland is great. |
