Rozey;
I am a football fan first! Brett is a lock first round hall of famer, and when he gets his jacket - I will be watching, and will stand before my television and applaud. Reggie White was my favorite player of all time. I will be in tears the day he is inducted. But I still have my dynasty. Patriots will win it again this year. |

Sorry,Eljay, but you know what happens when the media annoits a team "the greatest in history" before they even play their first game of the season. Let the Pats come to Dallas, then we'll see how good they are. Need I remind you who gave the Colts their first loss last year?

-------------------------------------------------------------- Hmmmmm.......Seems if memory serves ole Knox well--and it does--the DALLAS COWBOYS, one the road mind you, tacked 34 points on that "awesome D" you're talking about, while holding the offense that gave Green Bay their 1st loss to a measly 10 points. Green Bay overrated? Well, the evidence points to Yes, they are,errr..were . |

I live in cheesehead land, Im not a packer fan, or a bears fan. Farve didnt lose the game last night, the bears D didnt win the game last night. It was the rookies who lost the game, the bears defense isnt anything like it was last year. The Cowboys are much better this year, Packers in the SuperBowl yeah about as much of a chance as the Bears

we played a different D the game wit the cowboys tillman wasnt in and he was the main point they won and if you dont like the packers y are u even in this thread it has notin to do wit the cowboys

_______________________________________________________________ The mark of a great team is one that wins with what they've got. If one player is the difference between winning and losing, then it wasn't much of a team to begin with--or simply bad coaching to allow a situation like that to occur. Look no further than the Colts as an example of a TEAM that adapts to having not one, but FIVE starters injured and out for their game against Tampa Bay. THEY didn't base everything on the fortunes of one player, much less five. They played like a TEAM is supposed to and won 33-14. That's what teams do. If Brett Farve went down with injury, the Packers' postseason hopes would look worse than bleak, because they're a perfect example of a team putting all its eggs into one basket. In other words, not much of a "team" at all. Anyone who would like is invited to post comments--negative or positive--in the Dallas thread. GO DALLAS(a real "TEAM")!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Ah come on, you all can't hang the whole game on Brett. it seemed to me that the Packers came out as a different team in the 2nd half of play. And the Bears really needed a win, and it showed with their playing.
And talk of overrated, thats the Cowboys and the Pats (I refuse to watch a pats game because I hate hearing Brady's name said every 5 seconds for the duration of the game lol) |

Hey, Cloudy, I didn't blame Brett for the loss. I just said that Green Bay over-relies on him, and that if something happened to him, they don't have anything else. I blame the TEAM for not putting enough around Farve. He can't do it alone all season.
