Packers vs Chiefs.

This week, there is a chance that a sequence of events will occur that has never happened - nor will ever happen again in the history of the NFL. If Favre beats the Chiefs - He will join Peyton Manning and Tom Brady as the only quarterbacks in History to have defeated everyone of their opponents at least once. 31 teams each for Peyton and Tom - 30 and counting for Brett. In all likelyhood - Brett will never have the Chance again to accomplish this feat.

GO PACKERS!!! (And this from a Patriot's Fan!!!)

This will be shocking coming from me, so everyone please sit down before you read the following:

I Hope The Packers Beat The Chiefs!

There, I said it. Hey, no one has needled ole Farve as much as I have here--I thinklaugh . But I've never said he was a lousy QB. I didn't know about that stat until Eljay mentioned it. So yeah, I'd like to see Farve win, just so he can say he's beaten every other team.

One question for everyone out here(because I honestly don't know):

When Farve played for the Falcons, did they ever play the Packers? If so, was Farve the starting QB, and did they win? If so, then Farve would hold wins against EVERY NFL team.

Not so sure about your question knoxman. But personally I hope the Chiefs win (being from KC and all) and according to current polls I was looking at earlier today, Chiefs are the favored at the moment.

I do know that the last 3 times Farve has played the Chiefs (last time being in '96 at Arrowhead, '03 last game played between both teams) he has lost every single time and the Packers have lost five straight overall to the Chiefs, their longest active losing streak to one team. Since the start of the ‘90 season, no team boasts a better home record than Kansas City’s 104-35 mark at Arrowhead. Dating back to ‘95, the Chiefs also own an NFL-best 21-4 home record against NFC opponents. The team has forced 15 turnovers and the defense is the best in the NFL inside the red zone, allowing touchdowns only 26.7 percent of the time.

But this game isnt about who has the best stats. Its about who has the greatest heart and plays the best at the time. It will be a hell of a game, no doubt about that, and I wish both teams the best of luck. Sunday is gonna be a sea of red/white/yellow, its going to be sunny and cool, and Im gonna be in the stands cheering on my boys and drinking a beer. Gotta love football season!

Let's see.... Packers 7-1. Eagles? Aren't they like 3-5?
I'll support ya'. Go Pack! Though I'm also a Chargers fan. They don't look too hot right now, though. 4-4. I think it's Norv Turner's defence. It's pretty poopy.
Greenbay's D looked a bit shakey in the secondary this week. I hope that gets ironed out. I'm glad Brett got it together in the second half. Next week~ the dreaded Vikings...

Quote:I have to hand it to em, they are playing well and winning. if they could only have better fans. (from parttime vikings fan person)

your first sentence may have been ok. it seems that the second one was directed at the fans... Every team has some very loyal fans. Why say something negative about the fans? You know every fan base thinks they are the best, and they are for their own team... MN fans, Eagles fans, Cowboy fans, Packer fans.. you know, they all are the best fans for their team.. isn't that the way it is supposed to be?

anyway...... I thought that AJ did one heck of a good job yesterday!!

and the Vikings had a great day. That Rookie (cannot remember his name, I am sorry about that) really had some great runs!! look for good things there, eh?

His name is Adrian Peterson
and he's a running back.

And thank you for acknowledging
that he had a very good day
yesterday.

He's a real credit to his team!

Knoxman;

"When Farve played for the Falcons, did they ever play the Packers? If so, was Farve the starting QB, and did they win?"

Brett was the third string quarterback - never started. Don't think he ever played a snap for the Falcons. Jerry Granville was the coach, and had no interest in Farvre. Also - this was right in the middle of Brett's being addicted to prescription drugs from the car accident he had. So - he's never played against the Packers.
