I know, you guys are probably burn out on the holiday thing by now, but not me. I live close to the strip here in Vegas and the excitement is all over. On the strip every year they have a major fireworks display and I'm seriously thinking about going down and getting in the middle of it. Hmmm, maybe I'll chicken out on that one but I do have a plan. I live a block away from Desert Inn which is a road that goes over the strip and bypasses the direct traffic. A bridge that if you go up on you can see everything, I scoped it out. With me so far? Ok
If I time things out just right I can be at the peak of this bridge during the fireworks and take in, if I go very slow, the whole thing without the crowds. So what do you think? That's my plan, what's yours? Oh yeah, happy new year |

I usually fall asleep before the new year rings in, but now that I have a later work schedule I will be up for it this year! I grew up watching Dick Clark, and will probably continue the tradition with Ryan Seacrest. I've always stayed home on the New Year as there is too much commotion for me out & about. Happy New Year to you MG!

Happy New Year Man! What was that horror movie set in vegas. The teenagers had to solve an Egyptian puzzle to break the curse, as the city broke apart in major disasters. Happy New Year Gorgeous! I don't know the movie but we call it "An evening with the slot machine" |

Heck my neighbor didn't get the memo and has been firing things off all ready. Or it's a western gunfight. |

Well, it's not too late to get your butt over here. Michael believe me if I had a plane my happy azz would be in Vegas to see it come in right...lol Seems I have plans as of now friends are even picking me up....So guess I will actually see this New Year come in lol...

This is this first new years eve I have had off in 20 yrs.I'm going to stay home the roads are to dangerous on this night but I have a bottle of french cognac hiding in my cupboard for just such a occasion cheers everyone and happy new year!!!!!

I was going to take a taxi to a bar and get sloshed, but I remembered I do not care to drink!
So I will just watch the New York crystal ball drop, unless my eyes go to sleep first. I must be getting old...
