YESSS 2014 HAS ARRIVED! And it feels GOOD! Had a wonderful time, I had never been here, in this home, during New Years eve and the fireworks, wow! I went outdoors in my garden, which was fully lit up by it, lol, I was surrounded by fireworks, stunning! Still going on, but I got cold. I had a real good time though, first time in decades that I've been on my own NY eve.

I'm staying home for New Years... Last time, i went to a bar, and i had a few too many drinks, so i started to my truck, and i thought about it.. knowing road blocks would no doubt be in place. I decided to do something i had never done.. I took a bus, and sure enough, there was a road block. The bus was waved on through, and i made it home safe, which was a little surprising, as i had never driven a bus before. If you know of anyone missing a bus, please have them contact me, as it is taking up a considerable amount of space in my driveway. Thank you, and Happy New Year! lol, the above is a borrowed joke, but i do hope you will all be safe this evening.

HAPPY NEW YEAR ya all!!! This old woman has had her Black Eyed Peas and Cornbread for luck and I am already pinching myself to stay awake long enough to see the early fireworks off the Tower Bridge. Know I won't make Midnight but wish you all many Blessings and all things good in 2014 for all.

Our long night has finally come to a crawl. Wanted to share one of the photos. There were several helicopters we noticed flying over head and I grabbed this pic from the one that showed the closest view to what we had. It was very pretty. Hope all of you had a great time and were safe.
