What does Monday mean to you?

To me, it means I can conduct business after a weekend of everyone telling me they are closed on Sunday.

Well let me think this through really good. Since I am retired, I don't have to work any day of the week if I choose not to, so therefore, Monday would be just another day of doing nothing. Since, however, I like to keep busy and usually find something to do that most people would consider work, then, I work 7 days a week, therefore, Monday would be the next work day after Sunday. There that should be perfectly clear and messed up! laugh laugh

Monday means I have been blessed enough to make it through another Sunday. And that I have another day to try to find my way in this world. I will make the most of it because each and every day is a gift that I have been given. It would be a shame to waste it. shades

I'm not working at the moment, but in spite of that I still get this feeling on Mondays "I got to do something useful today". Stupid societal brainwashing is difficult to let go off.

That is funny as like you I am not working and I too feel the need to do something useful on Monday. I figure it's just habit.

yes, and esp Mondays, cos you tell yourself you had two days of bumming around, so you have to get going again. Weird thing. In a way almost like guilt for not having to work while others do
