I'm not working at the moment, but in spite of that I still get this feeling on Mondays "I got to do something useful today". Stupid societal brainwashing is difficult to let go off.  That is funny as like you I am not working and I too feel the need to do something useful on Monday. I figure it's just habit. I find that staying in bed is useful.  Good point. Wonderful feeling to keep hitting the "SNOOZE" button

I figure it's just habit. yes, and esp Mondays, cos you tell yourself you had two days of bumming around, so you have to get going again. Weird thing. In a way almost like guilt for not having to work while others do I can't say I feel guilty for not working. I actually do have a job coming up but have to wait for some paperwork. I always have lots to do as I am a home owner. Lots to do here. |

Monday is the day I have to remember to put the trash out before dark. Stinks getting woke up before dawn for absolutely nothing on Tuesday.
