When I was in college, I worked a lot of different jobs.
One, that I only held for a week or so, was working in
a pickle factory.
OMG.
You smelled like vinegar all the day long.
Even after I quit, I smelled like pickles for months.

But the smell has gone for good. That wasnt crazy,it was rather a good thing to 'meet up' and for the ends to meet

Jumped a car across a ditch on a bet.

It didn't end well. But I won the bet.

I think I still have the lump on my head.

I made stuffed seals and sold them twice a year at Christmas & Easter time. Used to park my car near a well travelled road and I called them "Christmas Seals" and "Easter Seals". They sold like hotcakes! My kids even took orders for them at their school.

Walk a 4 inch wide I beam for a week 3 to 4 stories in the air. I done that at the Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga while we were still constructing the plant. I have been a lot higher but on larger I beams.

I guess the very worse was going out on a I beam to make a repair over top a oven filled with liquid glass heated over 2,400 degrees. If I fell, I would have instantly turned to ash.

The most nerve racking was scuba diving with no lights and feeling around on the bottom for a muscle brail which broke loose and sank. Your mind will play tricks down there in the black.
