Find something that builds your confidence up. If you better yourself, your self image will change and "being a player" won't matter anymore. You might just become a normal person with flaws who accepts who they are and doesn't try to be one of our media driven stereotypes.

Seems to be a common theme for me

Brother, I'd been there. It's nothing to be ashamed of. I
didn't know what to say to women. My confidence and self-
esteem were at an all time low. I'd get anxious in front
of crowds.

With myself, I've given into religion, and have to to the
realization that being a player, doing one night stands
is not the way to go. I'm not going to force Christianity
down your throat. What I do want to do is give you an
idea of what I believe. God wants us to meet one person
and marry them. Pre-marital sex is not permitted. Anyway,
It's just a short term fix, just like a drug.

The real way to go is to have patience. Find a lady
for long term love, and not the wrong woman to lay
for all the wrong reasons.

So I have been challenged to come up with three things that make me a potential player. Well here they are: obviously the first requirement is good looks... and I can tell you now I already have that and then some. For instance, there have been many occasions where my striking good looks have compelled women (and men) to comment on how good looking I am. This is probably why I feel so self-conscious. I suppose it is the price one must pay...

On to number two. The second requirement should be an inability to love. Because men that fall in love are like putty in the hand. A woman soon moulds him into how she wants him. Well I have never been in love in all my thirty something years. So I think I pass on this one as well.

The third requirement is good conversational skills like being able to tell lies and making a woman laugh. But admittedly I am woeful at this but I know I can get better. So I am very close to becoming a player.

Being a player is a waste of time. The type of women who fall for that crap are a waste of time. Quality > Quantity

The publishers of all the 'Idiot ' and 'Dummy' guides are going to be setting up a Dating and Mating website and perhaps their own 'reality show'.
Part of their premise is that IF no one regards themselves as either idiots or dummies, new members will be voted on from other sites where members think themselves as idiots and/or dummies. They are currently signing up members in the US Congress and other politicians from all over..

Don't worry about being a "player" because eventually all players get played themselves.Just concentrate on being yourself and someone really nice will notice you. Some women find shyness sweet and genuine. Good luck to you and your search.
