Storms & lightning for past 2 days.
Been getting 2" or more for past 3-4 days.
Still raining today.
Minor low land flooding north of here across Nebraska & Iowa

Just south of us here, we are experiencing similar, Sage, two hours south got 700mm (2'4") of rain, in 24 hours...from severe and seperate drought, to drought breaking rain..wonderful!!! The flooding is a challenge yes, but is only temporary...and most houses around here are highset to catch the cooling breezes...

Good Morning Don, It's been pretty bad here two nights in a row woke up because of the thunder and lightning,alot of flooding and even a few deaths, really sad.

I'm in the same area as North Eastern NY and North Western VT and we've been experiencing thunder showers and severe winds on and off for over a week now.. we NEED the rain though.. crops were looking a lil dry but not NOW and the RAIN is refilling the POOL as the heat had evaportated about 3".. YAY.. it's all good HERE although we've lost electricity a few times.. last friday it was out for over 6 hours.. but.. we had a ball pulling out all the board games and playing by candle-light

so far.. We're good

sage, think I can say we are all ok here. we use the first day of july thru the last day of june for our weather reporting year, last year just under 4 inches total our driest since record keeping started 133 years ago.

2 hrs south of me tho is pretty bad, terrible flooding.
Lives & homes lost, very sad.....

we just had a tornado come through here last night well sort of must have been storming for 10 hours straight here.

my prayers are with all those in places with bad weather.

michigan is getting dumped on from the storms. about an hour ago we had our first tornado warning of the season. sure to be many more.
