yay, more football drama! last time i paid attention it was TO ruining the eagles with his pathetic whining and crying about suicide, and now it's michael vick ruining the falcons with his cold blooded violence.

sadly though, we make football players be vicious on the field and pay them big bucks to do so, beating people up all day for a living. the more intense and violent they get, the more they get paid. you mean to tell me this won't pass into their own personal lives? get real.

Excuse me but...nobody gets killed on the football field, Nobody gets HUNG TILL DEAD on the football field, Nobody gets soaked with water and ELECTRICUTED TILL DEATH on the footaball field, Nobody gets their jaw chewed off or Juggler Vein ripped out during a game and is left to die on the spot. Get your head screwed on straight! This guy is in love with KILLING and was not going to stop any time soon!! He said in his putred statement that it was an "immature thing that he had done". MY GOD!! He is blaming it on IMMATURETY??? Last time I looked...men mature at 12 years old. I think he is way beyond using that excuse. That's just the best that his lawyer co0uld come up with for him to say!! Yes..at this point he is being told what to say in front of the public.

they don't have to allow it to pass over into their personal lives. they have a choice.

Mike has a brain(at least part of one) like all of us. He made the decisions. He will pay the price.

haha that's pretty funny lake. do you get a yellow flag on the field and a 15 yard penalty for "electrocuted until death"? i didn't say it was right. i hope he burns, and there's no excuse for being a cold hearted piece of sh*t. however, i'm just pointing this out, as football players get overly aggressive fairly commonly. there's no need to get defensive about it or attack me for my thoughts.

It's not just you that I was talking to. Anybody that reads this should realize the mentallity of this guy and all his betting buddies that can stand and watch and cheer for 2 dogs killing each other for 2 hours at a clip. It takes a real man to do this..HMPF. I used to like Mike. I followed him all through his V TECH carreer where he was put way up on this grand pedistal. The entire time...he was killing dogs!! I feel betrayed by him and I want to see him pay for it. I live near Virginia Tech and they are removing his name and all his tropheys from the cases and there is talk of removing his name from the BUILDING with his name on it. He has let down a lot of people at Tech and with the big murder that took place there recently... it is all that we needed.

that's a very good point. the guilty plea was definitely a slap in the face to his fans. i can remember rooting for him too, and i know how that must feel to his closest fans.

i'm not putting anyone down but how bout not putting someone on a pedestal because they are famous. people put theirselves in a precarious position when they do that.

That's what torqued me off so badly about him. I even have a #7 Vick jersey that I bought while he was playing here. We all feel so betrayed that he won't be welcome here ever again. He used to come to several Tech games every year because he was such an Icon here. That is all shot to hell now.I knew about some of his wild times that he had around here before going to Tech but I thought that he had put all of that behind him as he matured.Well...he fooled us all..His one friend reported (snitched) that he pulled a knapsack out of his car containing $23,000 and walked over to the winner of a match and handed it to him. That was enough for me to want him put away immediately if not sooner. If that's not gambling...I don't know what it is!! The #7 jersey will be burn't at my next campfire!!

Sorry but the courts are thinking otherwise. IF YOU BREAK THE LAW YOU WILL GO TO JAIL! It's that simple. Vick has admitted that he has BROKEN THE LAW and now he will pay with time in jail plus...the last report said that he could be fined as much as 150 MILLION dollars for his actions!! This is no small offense and it has been going on for MANY YEARS! I hope Vick's parents are happy for pointing him in the WRONG direction.drinker
