Wouldn't it be nice if a national registry was where people wanting children and people wanting abortions could meet and the woman could give her child to the couple wanting children?

There is. I, myself, was adopted.

and what if we dont catch them inside the womb, what if the mother becomes drug addicted later on and gets them addicted, should it be legal to euthanize those babies too?

all the 'what ifs' are endless, but none diminish the harsh and rarely acceptable choice to take a human life,,,

That is an idiotic question. A baby is legally considered alive when it takes its first breath. In some states it must live for a minimum number of hours after birth before it is considered having lived and died at all, and not called "still born."

The hard fact is, some severely deformed children born with no hope of living very long have food withheld from them and are not given life sustaining assistance are allowed to die naturally.

The laws will probably not be changed unless there comes a time when the population of the earth humans are becoming extinct and every pregnancy is looked upon as the last hope for the continuation of mankind.

Then maybe society will force a woman to give birth for the good of mankind.

But mankind is pretty good at fornication and getting pregnant.

it would be nice if people cared about the consequences of their choices,,,,especially when human life becomes involved,, more than their immediate physical gratification

it would be , technologically progressive, if men who didnt want children could have their testes removed temporarily unless or until they changed their minds

and women who didnt want to be pregnant could have their ovaries temproarily removed, unless or until they changed their mind

heck, maybe society could even 'save more money' for these one time procedures than they gripe about paying to 'support' children and impoverished that are already amongst us,,,

society is good at pleasing the flesh, and eliminating unwanted consequences , and stigmatizing stigma

I think people should have to raise the lives they create , personally, or make the arrangment for those lives to be raised,,,

but, I am one person, in a society its not all about what I Want, but what the majority defines

and our majority defines the pregnancy as strictly and merely 'the womans body', and therefore the womans business,,

That would be a great idea. Where I have a problem with adoption is that your child would be taken away and the mother has no idea if they got a good home or not.

Hell, I take more care in adopting out a cat to someone than that. If it were my child, I would want to know who the adoptive parents are.

I personally don't trust the system after having watched so many television shows about child slavery and abduction, and illegal adoption agencies etc. But then I'm probably paranoid.

I do too. They should be put on probation and watched and made to take responsibility while being given assistance if needed. But instead, the state will take away your children if they find you to be the least bit "unfit." In doing that, the children end up in the system in foster care, or with relatives who take on the burden.

You what's even worse than abortion? What happens to babies born with their hearts on the outside of their chests that have no insurance. I used to date a nurse that witnessed these babies being laid out on stainless steel tables and left crying, alone, in the dark to die.

Babies with parents that have health insurance get surgery and go on to live healthy lives.

How about if we focus on the babies that are here now and forget about the ones that get aborted? Maybe then there will be fewer abortions.

there are plenty of issues to be concerned about,

insurance is another issue that needs to evolve

the condition you mention is very rare actually, much more rare than abortion,,,

The rarity is beside the point. There are dying babies that could saved if their moms and dads had money. Wouldn't it have been better to abort that fetus before it was born?

I dont believe in the kind of psychic ability that can know a childs quality of life before it is ever born,,,

I think its a wise God that finds the way to teach unconditional love in many different way,

including through the example of those who love the suffering, and the suffering who continue to love others,,,

Yeah, that's right. "You little babies have to suffer and learn unconditional love while the rich live off your parents labor. Work hard to learn little ones because you have only a few hours to live."

This kind of BS makes me want to puke. It's a cruel god you worship. And even if I thought he was real I'd still turn my back on him.
