This is a dating site. They should require real photos of members and to use them as their default photo. The main purpose of this site is to meet singles. I just see too many main photos of odd creatures and cartoon characters. What's the deal?

not everyone is here to date. Several are only here for the forums. Like me for example. I'm not here for anything but moderating and the forums. BUT I also have real pictures set to private. Not everyone wants their pictures to be public. That is their right.

Initial membership is free, many members involved in the forums have no interest in dating, and those members (some of which choose not to use photos of themselves) generate ad revenue. Plus they're awesome.

I know when I was on another dating site a while back; some cops, fire fighters,teachers, and even lawyers did not want to show their photo publicly. I always respect their right to keep it private. |

If someone does not want to show their pictures, that's fine with me. However, I will not consider meeting anyone who does not have pictures in their profile. I have no desire to give out my email address or phone number to strangers who are afraid to put their pictures on here.
