Can you fall in love with someone's mind? I overheard my father talk about my grandparents over winter break. He said my Granddad fell in love with Nan's mind. Is this in a correlation to ones' personality?

It could have. The nice thing about some of the relationships that our grandparents had were the frequency of exchangeing polite well thought out letters where penmanship, spelling, and grammer where prized.
Unlike the vulgarity that seems much more common in on-line communications if a person spoke of intimacy it was couched in code and it was frequent that parents were persuaded to allow or disallow dateing on the suitabilty of letters from a suitor. Since it was not uncommon for desireable gentleman to be flirted with by several ladies, or people writing in a daughter or sister's behalf that your Nana made a real effort to capture the lead with useing the highest caliber of intelligence that she possesed it is indeed possible that he fell in love with her mind. |

sure; in our shallow society many people date others just because they are physically attracted to them.
I've met avg. looking women who are beautiful to me because they are smart, funny, clever and have an amazing way of looking at life. My friend who is really good looking dated and married his wife who is a little overweight and avg. looking. But when you get to know her she's amazing and it makes her very attractive. |

Is this in a correlation to ones' personality? You totally can fall in love with one's mind! I was completely taken with an author/ photographer..no one understood because he wasn't overly handsome! I was so taken with him that it took me awhile to see what a complete A$$hole he was in other areas. |

Yes. If you make love to a woman's mind, you can have her body whenever you want.

I have had women tell me that they love my brain. I asked them if they were brain eating zombies, just to get away from them, because this is usually a forerunner to "can you help me with something"

I believe you can. Intelligence with out arrogence is a big turn on for me. I agree. Intellect is the tie that binds, all other aspects are fleeting. However, arrogance, is self-assurance without cause. If it is true then it isn't arrogance! Maybe humility on steroids. |

Is this in a correlation to ones' personality? if the mind is a reference to the brain,,,then hopefully the mind is what we HAVE to fall in love with as the brain operates all of our ocnscious choices and behaviors,, including those traits and characteristics that people fall 'in love' with |
