"Heroes may not be braver than anyone else. They're just braver five minutes longer." - Reagan
No, I'm not a huge Reagan fan. Yes, I did first see this quote in Call of Duty. No, I can't think of anything more clever than this quote to say. Yes, I'm about to ramble anyway (hey, that rhymed). A hero, by definition, stands out and has been acknowledged. I don't think that the only heroes are those that gain that status of admiration from physical acts, but could include someone such as Albert Einstein or Nikola Tesla that enlightened the world to new possibilities. In a sense, a hero is only as valuable as is agreed upon by a moral or philosophical code. |
