Why do people say they love you when they know that they do not mean it......is it really necessory to say you love some one and knowing that deep down in your heart that you do not?

our culture and our media have made 'love' a novelty and an ideal
there are few resources or examples to define what it really is anymore,,, because its 'subjective', it can mean anything from I would never harm you, to I really enjoy hanging with you/having sex with you to I would lay down my life for you,,,and everything in between |

I had a man close a message, with "love you", after a couple of days on here.
 Now, the man has not replied back, because I questioned him about a few things. It happens all the time on Date sites. You just have to read between the lines, and know when it is true or not.

I am glad you did notice it. I had a man close a message, with "love you", after a couple of days on here. Now, the man has not replied back, because I questioned him about a few things. It happens all the time on Date sites. You just have to read between the lines, and know when it is true or not.
Compliments do not work on me, I am from the Old school, meaning I can tell when you are a fake. I am not a desperate woman. Women desperate for Love, fall for anything. I had a man email me two days on here, full of compliments. He had a handsome profile and photo. I thought, oh no, this is too good to be true. When I said I thought he was a Scammer. He never wrote back. I am still waiting on a Reply. Where did he go!!!

Sweet words, nice meals, great sex. Then they get all pizzed when the check bounces. Go figure!

Wow. This is amazing. I thought I was the only one that went through this stuff...LOL. I feel better. About the scammers....I have gotten several of those. They are very tricky. Sometimes the most innocent issues can cause them to run but usually it is some silly little thing about money.

Because they are lonely or if they are real and mean it they were duped into believing this person was the real deal. "You deserve better than me" comes to mind once again. they equate every good feeling they have with 'love' and they express it as such , sometimes so repetitively and often that they convince themself |

Cause in this day and time too many have lost the meaning of what it means........sad but true
Then you find those that the words I love ya is no different then saying hi, how are ya it has no meaning to them just something to say... At times to keep the peace or to get what they want~~~

Yea is true, Satan has so much poison, humans heart that they no longer understand the meaning of love, you have to be very careful when someone tells you that he or she loves you. Especially on a dating site like this, most of them are just here for money and not love.
