Most on here are looking for money? Cuz I don't have none! lol! Other sites, they are looking to hook up even though they say they are looking for "the one." Riiiiight.

I think some people are in love with being in love. Very little difference to them who they are saying all the lovey dovey stuff to it is just a fantasy and when you break the bubble they split. But yea a lot of people say "I love You" becuse it makes people let their gaurds down and then zap they can swipe your identiy/bucks. I don't care how much a guy says he loves me He is not getting my ATM number. lol

I am glad you did notice it. I had a man close a message, with "love you", after a couple of days on here. Now, the man has not replied back, because I questioned him about a few things. It happens all the time on Date sites. You just have to read between the lines, and know when it is true or not. Compliments do not work on me, I am from the Old school, meaning I can tell when you are a fake. I am not a desperate woman. Women desperate for Love, fall for anything. I had a man email me two days on here, full of compliments. He had a handsome profile and photo. I thought, oh no, this is too good to be true. When I said I thought he was a Scammer. He never wrote back. I am still waiting on a Reply. Where did he go!!! there are scammers everywhere nowadays, happened to me. just drink beer! that's what i do. lol cheers buddy.

I liken love to being in an elevator...there are different levels of it, depending on what you are looking for. Sometimes though, it kicks you off that elevator when you're not expecting it, and for some it just doesn't want to move at all. I really dislike elevator music.

I agree that most people dont know the meaning of love and that it is a selfless emotion. I once told someone.... Think about your SO, if he died tomorrow how would u feel? A. U would feel bad, be sad, etc but life goes on OR B. Would u want to lay down and die right next to them? That pretty much says it all!

Always be careful there is an elevator box to step in when the door opens. One day Rap will be elevator music.

Msharmony. I agree there too! I think we all go through different stages at different ages, this happened to be a question posed to a 20 year old girl. Sometimes you have to exagerate (sp?) so that they get the point. As you get older and come to grips with the fact that you will die one day, you become a little more realistic. The "lay down and die with them" aspect was more about the fact that, at first you feel lost,dont know what to do with yourself, dont know how to cope. That doesnt mean that in time you wont grieve and move forward.

Why? Because too many women fall for it. Guys just figure it's the easiest way to get them in the sack. ^ this I have told friends I love them - I have said before I love you peeps - that is different than expressing love to a partner - there are different kinds.

Makes for great theater, but that's about all.
