I did not say that someone has their thought "during" dreaming. I said "dreaming" is brought on by one's thoughts. The things you think of throughout the day effects your dreams of that night. Thus why some kids have nightmares after seeing a horror movie before they go to bed. It scared them while they were awake eg., the thoughts it gave them and it carried on into their dreams.

God can do anything. But that has nothing to do with omnipresent. That would fall more into the other word you brought up, omnipotent.

He didn't leave the presence of "God". He left the presence of the "Lord" which again would indicate he was in a physical form.

If you read further up in that same chapter, you will see the "Lord" was there in a physical form speaking with them. And also keep in mind, this was taken place in the Garden of Eden. The Lord was present in the Garden. Man had not turned away from God yet. Man was not separated from God.

They may not be having thoughts of "lust" during the day. They may have had thoughts of their wife throughout the day.

Cain physically knew God because man had not fallen from the grace of God yet. Man and God walked side by side in the literal sense. Jesus wasn't necessarily "born" as in created. Jesus came and took on the form of a servant in the likeness of man. He chose to come to us in that way.
