Today was a good day...
I hardly even thought about her.

Ate breakfast at that little place on the corner.
I've been going there for eight months now...just found out the waitress has a name......It's April. She's nice.

I normally go down to the river and think about her...
I wonder how she is and what she might be doing...
not today hardly a thought at all.

She wasn't with me on the ride to work.
I didn't think of her throughout the day.
Hardly even a thought of her at all...

Went to friends house tonight for a couple beers.
I usually drown my sorrow there, he listens to my complaints...
He's a good friend. I've put him through alot.
but not today, not a word about her.

I went to bed tonight and she was not there.

Today was a good day.......

I like that, did you write it? I was playing my guitar and singing your poem and it was pretty good. Doesn't rhyme which makes it even better.

I wrote it...didn't come out exacly the way I wanted it...
