Gosh pacific!

Sure I have judged others and been judged. And at times I was totally wrong about a person... It is a normal reaction to see someone and have our own thoughts of what that person is like...

First impressions can make or break a person regardless what others think. At times that alone will blow it for many...

As totage said it all depends on what we do once we have made that judgement. Do you give that person a chance and get to know them? Or do you turn your back and think you judgement is all you need?

I have been totally amazed by some once I got to know them...

I've been judged by my classmates,teachers (incorrectly,of course), just because of my appearance, my views, my ideas.
I finally said (to myself) enough, trying to form to what others want me to be- I'll be the odd one, the "outsider", and of course, the "nerd" of the class (and still am). But, my views and ideas and expectations were finally accepted (recycling,re-using,re-purposing, enjoying others' company, ect.).
I was wondering if anyone else enjoys recycling,re-using, and re-purposing of items, to help others and the the environment. (and a friend in cyberspace would be equally cool!)?

I have been judged for years about my cover before people get to know me I may look rough n rugged but am a lamb at heart can hold a sensible conversation and am really good company on a night out

As with many things, judging can be done positively or negatively.

I judge ppl all the time, to decide whether I want them in my circle. If they are not in my circle, I don't much care how much of an as sh ole someone is.

My 2 cents.

*** U ME makes an *** out of you and me. We all judge, as its in our nature, but its being aware that we are making judgements that is the secret. Then checking the judgements out to see if we are right or wrong in our assumptions.

I kinda had an idea. If the "beautiful" people only dated another "beautiful" person, or an "ugly" person only dated other "ugly" people, then would they have more in common? Something to complain about looks-wise? A lot of "beautiful" people are used and abused just because they happen to be "hot" or "good looking". Saying that, why are these "beautiful" ones choosing to date such lowlife scumbags if they know what to look out for? Why date someone abusive? You should never settle for less than you're worth. I understand some may be desperate, but I would never give my heart to such a lowlife.

Yep all the time. People always judge me by how I look or call me a redneck or make dumb blond jokes, but I really don't care anymore. I know who I really I am and that's all that matters. I don't mind being called a redneck and I know I'm not a dumb blond so oh well! Their loss!

My best one was in a parking lot, there was a crowd of people, literally a crowd, preventing me from stealing my car. People saying "don't let him near, he's going to steal it" to one guy with a couple of others brutes, advising me that I needed to just go on away, they weren't going to stand by and let me steal this car.

Luckily I had a remote on that car (and a sense of humor). I popped the door and attitudes quickly changed. Amazing that they didn't even think I looked like I could even own a car.

LOL Another case of a decent hard working guy who is really just a big ole Soft hearted Teddy Bear.

Makes me often wonder why nice guys wear such tough looking "shells". I get the jeans, riding boots, and leather that is just safe but why the black tees if you don't mind me asking? Favorite color? Black seems so hot and depressing;especially in summer time.

I did have a guy once that said he didn't judge a book by it's cover, but I think he just wanted to get me naked

Yea I have gotten a bunch of hassles one about my vehical.

For years I had a big old worn land yacht that wasm't really easy to get my chair in and out of but a Mom of two I had transportation. My mechanic was such a peach about keeping it going but eventually it crapped out.

Because I had been saving for years I had enough for him to take me to the auto auction and buy a used handicapped van. Was great and helped a lot of people get around. Never failed if I gave someone a ride to the food bank or to pick up commodity foods they got lip about having an expensive vehical.

What really knocked me out was with it I could actually get to my Physical terrorist enough to get where I could walk again. A long painful effort. I got so much greif about how people with disabilities are either faking it or have it so easy so many times I got where I hated driving it.

When I finally tried to sell it the dealerships told me he didn't want to give me book value because it had a lift he would have to remove because disabled people didn't have money to buy anything. So yea people have a lot of assumptions about vehicals.

Oh ok just stylin and profilin Huh Darlin? I figured it was something less glam like making laundry easy or like me can't tell dark blue from black so just bought all black until recently and can see better. lol
