how many will admit to dating with a checklist??
you meet someone and from past experience immediately judge them. what happened to just going outand having fun?? getting to know them and seeing if the sparks fly....yes i am guilty too |

We all make judgements.
To say you don't judge is a lie and makes no sense. Really? If some one is walking around dressed in dark clothing, wielding a weapon you're not going to make a judgment that there may be danger? OK. Yes, certain criteria must be met before I consider dating someone. I know what I want. I know what I'm looking for. |

Well, I have preferences (not all of which are mandatory) and there has to be some attraction. So, if I am attracted to them and think we may hit it off, sure I'll go out on a date. If I'm not, then there won't be a date. There's no check list, though. I just know what I like.

I have my virtual checklist but I give time for the other person to show off what he really got... Then verdict follows

I would like to say that I have never had a checklist
But if I didnt then I would have just gone out with anyone. My Top of the list is no violence. Then someone who I don't annoy. and number 3 a good personality. |

Do I have a list. Yes. At the second half of life I know what I like, don't like, and how futile it is to think someone is going to change. If I clearly see that I am not making the list of the person I am with it really doesn't matter if they make mine, or not, I walk away. Doesn't make either of us bad in my book just not a match. Why waste time and create frusration?

I judge them by what they say and do example i can smell charm a mile of or lies a little.but ive been caught out,i try to not judge by past experience but i do it a little

i agree, i give most all women the benefit of doubt, but there are a few i see no reason to even try to date... but no "list", just common sense... |

I have to admit I have a subconscious checklist of things that are not a good match
tats, piercings, agnost, atheist, nature loving, gym loving, beach loving, hard rock or country loving, or effiminate males, or males who dont have children,,, not too long a list,,lol, but its definitely there, I just dont want to waste anyone elses time,, or mine,,, |

I choose women that choose me. I date a number of them at the same time. I spend more time with the ones I get the most enjoyment from. Eventually, I'm with only one.
I don't think "check list" is the right term for it. |
