Choking his daughter lays in the area of what God has told us not to do. God in no way has EVER told us to choke our daughters or anything of such. right...God told Moses it's ok to hit children with stones as long as you don't choke them The two have nothing to do with one another. And God didn't tell anyone to stone "children". God gave instructions for UNRULY children. Those are the children that won't listen to anything any time. Only does what they want to do ever and so on. There is a huge difference. first "Cowboy 1" claim that God didn't tell anyone to stone and in the next breath "Cowboy 3" claim that God gave instructions of Unruly children ....wasn't those instructions to stone them can you post anything without contradicting yourself?.....maybe you have a contradiction addiction... What are you talking about? Tell me what post number it was that I made the claim God didn't tell us to stone children in this thread in the last few pages. |

Why do you quote your own statements of liking cheese and all that then speak about it in third person like it wasn't you? I was just quoting your statements. I might have edited them as you did mine, but obviously it's ok to edit posts cause you do it all the time. I've never placed words in your posts that you didn't place in them yourself ... I've never mention anything in any post that I liked cheese ...you lied and wrote that in there yourself what did Jesus say about bearing false witness so sad that a Christian has to lie about cheese I was making a point that clearly flew over your head in which I'm sorry Funches. The point was about "editing" posts. It matters none if you change the words, add words, or take away words, it's still editing posts. This you have been doing, you don't post the ENTIRE post, you edit it and take things out of context. Then fly off the handle and run with it like it holds some kind of grounds. |

I said give the POST NUMBER of that post. Yes at the start I did say that, I MADE A MISTAKE. That has been cleared up. Come on Funches, again quit comen in here to argue and learn how to discuss. Give us a verse where it PURELY says to stone a "child". Not speaking of an unruly Child. Just an instruction that says PURELY "Child". |

It matters none if you change the words, Cowboy what you did was remove the words from the post and replace them with your own words as if the other person actually wrote them ... if I'm going to be kicked out this site for something I've posted, I want it to be for what I posted .....not something you posted so try to curb your anger and stop falsifying other people's post |

I said that, because the quote you made I was making it clear that God did not tell us to stone "children". God instructed us to stone UNRULY children. Cowboy...explain how you can stone unruly children without stoning children ... also parents gave their children as burnt offerings...did this only apply to the unruly ones so your God tell parents that they must hate or kill their children...time to accept that and move on Creflo was only following the instructions handed down by God perhaps God even floated down and commanded Creflo to choke his daughter and beat her with a non-lethal object |

Getting kicked from this site? What in the world man? Who's talking about that. I was purely speaking for the sake of a discussion in a discussion forum. I have no anger, I'm not angry. All I ask is we have a DISCUSSION in a DISCUSSION forum, which is not done by editing people's posts as you do. If you only wish to respond to a specific area of the post, don't edit the post just do as the following without spaces between the characters. [ quote ] Then copy/paste what it is you wish to respond to there [ /quote ] Then place your response here, simple and easy. And keeps things in context, then the readers of the forum can look at the entire post to keep things in context and not have you twisting people's words around. |

An unruly child has done something wrong, thus they are being punished for their wrong doings. And as mentioned before the stoning would be the last resort after other options had been tried in correcting the child. When the other methods do not work ranging from groundings, toys taken away, or any number of possibilities and the child is UNRULY, then that's when the stoning comes into play. |

And in your reference to us being told to hate our children. Luke 14 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple Jesus was not speaking in a literal "hating" them, as in wishing they were dead or anything of that such. He was speaking in parable form, metaphorically. Because not all of us can bare a cross. Because if we were to literally have to bare a cross, the rest of this world from this day forth would be absolutely out of luck at sharing in the glories of Heaven. |

Yes people were in one part of the scripture, but does it say the LORD was pleased with this? No it does not. Now give us a specific verse(s) that says people were instructed to offer their children as burnt offerings. |

What are you talking about? Getting kicked from this site? What in the world man? Who's talking about that. I was purely speaking for the sake of a discussion in a discussion forum. I have no anger, Cowboy...intentionally falsifying the posts of others are done out of anger and frustration ....the same as intentionally inflicting pain upon a child during a spanking |

So don't edit people's post if you do not wish for your posts to be edited. *last thing that is going to be said on this as this is entirely off topic and not even religion associated.* |

Because if we were to literally have to bare a cross, the rest of this world from this day forth would be absolutely out of luck at sharing in the glories of Heaven. Cowboy...sorry but Jesus made it pretty clear about hating your children .... Give a verse that says to hate your children, to detest them. Hatred is a strong dislike. Jesus was saying here that if you do not put him first, you can not be his disciple. Put him first before your dad, your mom, your children, your wife, even your ownself. If you can not place him on top of your priorities over these things, then you can not be his disciple. He wasn't telling anyone to have evil feelings for another. Again, you can not take verses out of context. Jesus taught to love one another, so if he taught to love one another, that CLEARLY shows the meaning of the usage of the word "hate" in these verses. And again, you have to also keep in mind what we are reading is a TRANSLATION of what was originally said. And what was originally said, was said in a language that it totally different then how people speak today. So please, do carry on. I would like to see also more of what you can and will post on this. Please do give a verse that specifically states to hate your children and isn't being taken out of context. |

God has told us the only reward for sin is death, thus when a person(s) continues in their sin(s), that is more or less suicide. God judges, he does not kill. He does not force anyone to do the actions they did/do to receive such a judgement, nor does he restrict anyone from changing from their foul ways. Gotta learn to take responsibility for your own actions funches. |

Anyone who won't shoulder his own cross and follow behind me can't be my disciple. |
