It is not the same thing. Again the example just for you - You can know OF Billy the Kid, but there is no way that you could personally know Billy the Kid. Same applies to everyone we know from "history".

Neither one "makes" me sin. It's called free will. People make their own decisions on the choices/actions they do or don't do in life. There is no one to blame but one's own self. Yes I have given God my life, but that doesn't mean I don't make mistakes from time to time on the journey we call life. That's why God offers forgiveness, for he knows we'll make mistakes. And thus the reason one needs to repent. The words are in vein if asking for forgivness then turning around and doing it over and over and over. Cowboy....oh...so you didn't literally give your life over to Jesus ...I guess you guys never do ??? Wow, you're really out in left field this morning. What are you talking about? I did give my life over to God, but I make mistakes along the road from time to time. What are you talking about this mornn'n funches? Cowboy...if you handed your life over to jesus but yet sin while he is standing beside you .....then you clearly do not love Jesus above yourself ......

But our God is so gracious and loving he offers forgiveness for such. it's not my opinion it's the bible....Jesus said if you love me you will obey me ....are you claiming that sinning while he is standing beside you is obedience and an act of love ..... it's like you're cheating on jesus ....and an indication that you would do the same to your spouse?

So unless you're claiming because a person disobeys their parent, they will cheat on their spouse lol. That would include everyone. I know not of one person that has no disobeyed their parent at one time or nother. Again, the comparison of the two has absolutely nothing to do with one another.

Sinning is not necassarily "cheating" on God. It is disobeying my father, just as a child disobeying their parent.
