I am in need of help for a Mother's Day project. I would like to attached a poem to a candle. I'm not good at poetry (Mine sounds like Dr Seuss wrote it lol) It's a mother/child candle symbolizing the child is lifting up the love that they feel for the mother for all the world to see and the light makes that love shine. Can anyone help with a sweet poem?

Don't sell yourself short. Dr Seuss was a genius. Come to think of it, wouldn't that be a fitting style for that kind of poem? A simple child like rhythm and rhyme?

When God created Mothers, He gave our world a special light, That just like this special candle, you Will always shine so bright, your in my heart mom for every loving thing you've done ,your the best mom in the world and you are my number 1 :) ...i hope you like it my friend i can think of more but not sure how long you need it or how short :)

These are all great! Thank you soooooooo much. I might have another project for the Mingle poets soon bastet...I'm not sure people love yellow roses the way I do lol. I am making different candles (because I can't make up my mind lol) I'm either going to embed a poem into the wax or put the poem on a little card attached to the candle
