I am wondering how much room folks would be willing to make in their life for a new person? Would it be a few minutes a day, week, or maybe more? Would you be willing to alow them space in your home? My space is really limited so I am thinking how would I fit another person in. LOL I would have to bring in a chair just to set down to the table for a meal. Shareing a closet ? Wow it better be a really great guy lol. What about you all?

My life right now is the emptiest it's ever been, so I have plenty of time to devote to a new person. There just isn't anybody out there to devote it to.

This really isn't something I think about much or worry about. If I want to get to know someone new and spend time with them, I will, no matter what else is going on.

My time is limited because my priorities are with my children. My 18 year old will be off to university this September to study pharmaceutical Chemistry so job done with him.

My other priority is ensuring that all’s well with my 6 year old. There is room for a significant other but my time is/will be limited...hopefully, I’ll find someone that will be understanding of this.

I have all the room in the world. Any offers on helping me fill it with a warm male body?

I thought that same thing, for years and years and years.

I hoped it was true.

But it turns out that all the Alexises (Alexii? I'm not sure what the plural form is) aren't interested in Lex, they're only interested in who they can turn Lex into....

Interesting because I think both of you gentleman would compliment any number of peoples lives. Maybe you have more options than you realize just as you are. I could see enjoying a great conversation with either of you and neither one of you are hard on the eyes so I would think you could pick any number of smart ladies to persue. and then fine tune for the particular lifestyle that would meet your needs. One thing about gaining a few years some issues like having children resolve hemselves. LOl I know I am not about to try to start another family and I don't think that is so rare,

As far as planning my life I tend to think I have kind of a what happens happens thought going myself but I have wondered about getting so set in my routine that canibleizeing every square inch of space has gotten to be a habit that it would be more of an adjustment to think in terms of "our" for a relationship.

I am building with the help of friends a man-cave off to the side of the house. Actually it looks a lot like what my mother had set up in her house. I started working on it when I got my boarder. A friend told me that the house is small. Once I get moved in I will be able to work repairing this old house. My friend is going to help me build a work bench so I can do computer repair which is actually more of a hobby then anything else. Trouble is that it really is starting to look like a cave. Instead of having one solid dark color I may do the ceiling in a lighter color. My mom told me that I need to pull up the old carpet. I will able to see soon how good the tile in the man-cave will look. The room has been years in construction so far. One year was just in hand picking, shoveling, raking and hoeing the area to be flat because the area was sloped. I had to put the dirt on the low level to make the area flat. There was still that four foot drop off where the steps go down into the new room. I might as well have been building the pyramids because the project is going over budget and time consuming.laugh

Well, he's been here 3 days so far and I'm planning on letting him stay another 2. He didn't bring that much stuff so it hasn't been a problem.

For me if it was meant to be then i would work on making room as you go long but if it wasn't then why bother. But yes if the right one came along i would try to make room for them in my little world here an if they asked me to go to there's i would work on that also

They can have the room, but they NEVER will gain admission to the washroom/bathroom.

Plus they have to wax the floor the Wux walks on.

I feel like I have a lot to offer, and I hear the "easy on the eyes" thing a lot, so there is (in my mind, anyway) something there to work with. The problem is, no one actually sees me as "me" -- they see me as raw material to be turned into some other guy who is nothing at all like "me."

Hummm I have more then once made room for another within my life...But when it comes to the point of being smoothered or all about them and they have their priorties all screwed up then it is time for that room to get smaller and time for them to go....

Life is about learning to share with others and good times....but one has to still be able to find themselves within it all. Once you have lost yourself within another it is time to take a long look at the situation and find yourself again....whoa

-------

A long time ago I was pubbing with some friends, and one guy showed up with his newest girlfriend, Trish.

Later on in the evening I turned to her, and asked her, casually and in total candid honesty, "Is your name Trish or Trash?"

You have to know that I am an immigrant, and I have no problem with words, but names, human's first names, and remembering them, take the better of me.

All I need is enough room to curl up at my woman's feet and a nail to hang up my thongitard and I am good.
