When you going to take down your dad's picture and put up your own? this coming from a Vanilla Ice wannabe... omgosh, the love in this forum is always so brilliant and radiant :D :D this coming from a Jesus wannabe Why wouldn't one wish to be like or atleast similar to the greatest man that has ever existed? yep....Adam and Eve probably thought the same thing about God... Possibly... but again irrelevant. The two have absolutely nothing to do with one another... what's your point? your statement that you would want to be like Jesus is the same reason why Adam and Eve took from the fruit ...because they wanted to be like God so do you think that kids should be like their parents?

No need to look up, Jesus is beside me every step of the way. but yet you sin anyway Yes, I am not perfect. I make mistakes. I didn't say Jesus was there controlling me, now did I? Jesus is beside you as well, Jesus is beside anyone and everyone. nope..I've looked...Jesus isn't beside me....it appears only you are having hallucinations that he is .....to bad he doesn't have enough influence on you to keep you wholesome and sinless Sorry you can't see him. And Jesus does keep me sinless, he keeps me pure. give me some of the stuff you are taking and perhaps I could see Jesus...considering that he supposedly no longer on Earth ....perhaps that's why you keep sinning because it's not Jesus Who says Jesus is no longer on the Earth? No, he's no longer here in the flesh, but that doesn't mean he's not here. He has told us he would never forsake us and he will be by our side. I'm taking a huge dose of Holy Spirit, greatest high in the world.

No it wasn't. They ate of the tree to gain knowledge, eating of the tree would give them the knowledge of anything and everything. They weren't punished because they wanted to be ever loving, considerate, compassionate, and obedient.

They ate of the tree to gain knowledge, eating of the tree would give them the knowledge of anything and everything. don't God have the knowledge of anything and everything...they wanted to be like God which is why they took from the fruit.... you want to be like Jesus..which mean you too would have taken from the fruit.....

Cowboy...isn't all sins the same? Not specifically no. All sins but one are forgivable, yes. But that doesn't mean all sins are the same. That's totally up to God's judgement.
