Nobody said I intentionally sin.

you said that you sinned due to your flesh being weak....that's intent....and not much of an excuse to cheat on God

How is that intent?

making excuses that your flesh was weak means that you pre-mediated or thought about what you were doing but didn't care and that's intent

you also claim that when you sin that you felt the presence of God...which mean that you alerted before you committed the sin ...which is pre-mediation and enough time to form "intent"

repent heathen

Lol you really go out in left field big time Funches.

There is no excuses being made, it is not an excuse that my flesh is weak, that is the reason, I'm still acountable for the action(s) I had taken.

And no doesn't show any pre-meditation. I never said I thought about doing it before I did it or planned to do it.

the fact that you committ sin is in itself intent.....God gave you his commandments...his teachings...all you have to do is follow them....those that loved God would and wouldn't make up weak fleah excuses

Seriously.

There is three things wrong with a non-believer telling a believer "Who God is".

1. You don't believe in him.
2. You don't believe the Bible/Holy Texts.
3. Your "opinion", which is all it is, is irrelevant; and the "need" to belittle another's beliefs is both "profound" and "childish".

You telling a "believer" what God is? What God "meant"? What a "sin" is? When you, yourself, will not take a "stand" of your own....

It's like the pot calling the kettle orange. Even if the kettle doesn't know what "black" is, it still knows that it is not orange.

See...

I believe in a "God", in the sense, I'd rather believe something(one) created us for some purpose, rather then to live then die then live again.

I've stated, somewhat, prior.. but you never have.

I'm curious..

What do you believe in Funches?

Is it harder to believe we are just the result of a series of totally random events and, as such, our lives are entirely without purpose and/or cause?

OR

Some "being"(s), "power"(s), or "entity"(ies) created us for some purpose?.Whether that being an obese man, a zombie king, or is made of lightning; which is better?

One leaves you empty inside...

..while the other at least holds hope.

The universe is alive and everything is connected. It is intelligent.

We create ourselves as a unit.

Look at how an embryo begins to divide and grow. It creates itself. Stem cells receive messages that direct them to form into body parts. It is all connected and it is intelligently following programming.

Information is everywhere. Information is shared.

There is three things wrong with a non-believer telling a believer "Who God is".

all any believer know about God is what is written in scripture and it appears that they can't even agree on that ..some even in this forum is claiming that what is written is false

all I'm doing as a non-believer is telling these doubting believers that they should have "faith" that what is written in those scriptures is literally the true word of their God or in the case of the Trinity their 3 Gods

so think of me as the new begotton son of God given to Mingle2 to place the flock back on the path to true righteousness

Sin_and_Sorrow ...didn't you try to debate in the Cosmological Argument that God created the Universe without a purpose ...that he created the Universe for no logical reason or any "need"

so wouldn't someone that felt "empty inside" have this point of view...and you did say that you were lonely

so are you now trying to say that God did have a "need" and did have a logical reason to create you and the Universe?

A. Was to express the difference between want and need.
B. It was also because you were stuck on the idea God can't have "wants" or "needs", so thus that was the resulting conclusion.
C. Not lonely anymore, got a wifey now.
D. No, I didn't say God had a need, I said we have a "purpose".

If God has no "needs" .....then exactly what is your "purpose" beyond deluding yourself that you have a purpose

Our purpose is to live and to choose for our self what our purpose will be. It is to realize free will and use it.

right...since God has no need for anyone or anything..any purpose would only exist in the mind of the creation as a cry for self worth....

Wow!(there can be but one of those)

I make no such claim for an immaculate mother.

I am the Son of Man.

And not the First Born of my Father.
