Because if Satan could blind the people of this world just on a whim and not because of a choice they have made, Satan would then just blind us all. And if you claim Satan just isn't poweful enough to blind them ALL and can only blind a few, then is that not God playing favorites and allowing Satan to just blind some of them? Sure would be. Only you can blind yourself by walking in the dark with Satan. If you go to the light and or stay in the light with God you will never walk in darkness nor will you ever be blind, you will always have the light of God to guide you. |

Most christians are aware that satan is the god of this world system. There isn't a god for this world, then a god for Heaven, then a god for this or that. God is God, period. There is only one God. this is but another way of looking at it.
'the god of this world' in the context of the quoted statements above is none of the above... That 'god' is mankinds reliance upon the material things of the world (while ignoring the spritual). It is an idol raised to material things. and only exists in the minds of those that pursure only material things... while they are so pursuing they are blind to the spritual things... By their own 'god'. |

What are you saying exactly? I don't think God would want sacrifices. So, like, before I answer this.. one thing I foresee and wish to avoid: 1. This is just my opinion so if you ask for "proof", no, I don't have any because it is just my thoughts. That said.. ..I just don't believe, or think it's just that simple, how we, as a society, believe "God" to be like. By "like" I mean all-forgiving, all-knowing, all-guy next door-ish. I just don't envision a "guy", no matter how "powerful" living/surviving for as long as, or even before the; birth of the entire galaxy... Not being just the tad-bit.. eh, what's the word that's not "cruel".... ..well, to avoid an "insult", let us just use our imaginations? -.- |

1. It is fair because God said it would happen. Regardless of if they knew specifically what "disobedience" was. They were punished for doing exactly what God told them not to do, not specifically "disobedience". God said not to eat of the tree, the why they weren't suppose to is irrelevant or even the punishment to come really. The bottom line is God told them not to and they did. Somehow.. ..you actually consider this an answer? o.O Like I said before.. If you put a bottle of Cyanide in front of an infant (same mental capacity) and says, "Don't not touch this or you will surely die." What do you think they are going to do? An infant doesn't "recognize the phrase: "don't touch"... ..let alone the concept of "death". ..would it not also make me God if I could "predict" this outcome? Furthermore.. "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should." EDIT 2. They may not have died that exact day, but from that day they brought death into the world. In the world today, as soon as you are born, you are dying so to speak. Each breath you take when you are first born is a breath closer to death. Before they ate of the tree, they had eternal life. ..yeah, that's what they tell me.. So... ..instead of showing "mercy" for what he "knew" they would do.. ..you're telling me: A. The act of temptation caused "death" to enter the world. B. Adam and Eve, prior to the Fruit eating, were immortal. C. God banished us from the Garden so we would not eat from the Tree of LIFE and be "immortal" like "us"..? ..and you see absolutely no problem with this? Let me some up what you are ACTUALLY telling me: Adam and Eve's punishment... WAS the Death Penalty. ..and at the same time; I'm supposed to believe.. he's merciful? o.O |
