Topic: TSA branching out to the roadways now........... | |

I think it was the one where he went back to the cowboy days and met his ancestors. I think the time I would like to go back to is the 60's or 70's. That seems like a decent time to fit what I was speaking of. |

As far as I could tell, it was the THP that was forcing people to stop, not the TSA. Did you actually watch the video? Yes. If you saw otherwise, and provide the time stamp, I'd love to take another look. Yes I saw otherwise. I don't even know what the THP is. This is a you tube video, I don't know what you mean by providing a time stamp. THP is the tennessee highway patrol, and a 'time stamp' is (in this case) the minute and second of a relevant portion of the video. I'm not willing to watch the whole video all over again just to see if I missed the part where a TSA agent forcibly pulls over a vehicle, or coercively detains someone, but if someone else saw that I'd be happy to look at the relevant part of the video again so I can learn what is really happening. I may have missed it, but I saw no evidence of the TSA forcing people to stop. Afaik, TSA is not pulling people over on our freeways, TSA is not coercing anyone to speak to them (afaik). According to the video, it seemed that TSA was involved in some kind of informational promotion/advocacy campaign, in which people were encouraged to keep their eyes open and report suspicious activity. It seems to me that the THP is the agency that is forcing people to stop. I'm pretty sure they have been doing this for decades, though I would't be surprised if they were given more power under the patriot act. I'm not a fan. I think we need harsher penalties for actual convicts, and less government intrusion into people's privacy and freedom. |

It's a weigh station all they have to do is flip on the lights to tell eveyone to pull over and let them search. HP's across the nation already have it established that truckers must stop at wiegh stations when lights are on. no one has to pull anyone, it's already programmed. They keep programming each individual into acceptance of things we shouldn't accept or even find acceptable. These trucks shouldn't vn be searched (without probable cause which seems an iffy circumstance to me) without a warrant. When they start doing this to all vehicles, i will be really pissed, start taking my bike, and give up vehicles alltogether. Might even buy a horse instead!! |
