I dunno. I joined on a lark a few years ago, and then only visited rarely, but recent events just made me decide to go ahead and start using the forums. In an ideal world I am looking for someone to date, but really just as happy making friends, joking with people and swapping ideas and opinions.

There's a difference between an ASH and an ALF. ALFs eat cats. An ASH does other things with them.

I joined here with the goal of dating with goals of making friends and eventually having one of those friendships turn into something long term.

My experience has been the site is a lot of fun as far as chatting on the forums, but has not been a way to meet men locally. Some of that may be my age as everyone on here seems to be quite a bit younger than I am.

Frankly, many men my age & older are not computer savvy. So that would not work for me. I like younger men but most want families, or if they have kids already they are looking for a younger woman.

Being an older woman is not an easy thing to be. We are often overlooked....even by the guys who are not totally shallow

So I enjoy the forums and if I meet someone fine. But I am really hoping to be on here less & less in the coming months and to be doing more IRL. quite honestly

I am curious to see who finds me amusing on here. I always get surprised at those. I TRY really hard to shock people, hope its paid off.
