A conversation with someone made me wonder about this...

This is first a dating site, but as we all know, many of us use it to meet and keep in touch with friends. So, what are you looking for? Dating? Friendship? Just sex? A combination of all three? Just to participate in the forums? Nothing?

to conversate and meet new personalities, possibly meet a woman thats like minded..

I've been here for different things at different times over the last several years. Love, friendship, to-the-death-fights in the forums....

I am always here to spend time with my friends regardless of what else I may be looking for.

I originally signed up in '06 hoping to find a girlfriend. Over time, I realized that was not going to happen, but I've made friends here, the best people on the internet are here, and I stuck around because of them.

well at one point it was love thought i found that but that well never mind now its just to find friends an who knows maybe someone again some day but for now i will just settle for more friends

OK I had to figure out what I wanted - the long & short of it is that being here has been a lesson in self exploration - after about a year or so on here I realized that I really did not know what I wanted.

recently I decided that I would remain for the forums and make friends, acquaintances....but no pressure. If something comes of it fine - if not...that's Okay too

I will still enjoy my online community either way. Ultimately I do want a relationship - I finally decided that prolly about a year ago...if it happens with someone here great

but I see online as simply one more option for meeting - mainly here ATM for the forums

I tried out this site as a means to just chat with others. I do not really make a plan. If something happens out of it great..however, if it does not.. I will not be disappointed in the slightest. I have made some nice friends on here and I enjoy following peoples lives on here. Thanks all!

People who REALLY care about another Human Being.
A place where your NOT judged by your race or color.
A place where Friends made are friends who have your back.
The one place where everyone cares about everyone else and mean that
A place that respects back all who they show respect to.
A place where friends are like family and want to make you smile.
A place where all of life,,just stops,,and stands still for awhile.
A place where you can throw every part of yourself out for examination, disecting every part of you as they search through.
Just to find,,they really don't want to....know you...

I am just here to chat and make new friends. I gave up on dating and relationships a while back.

All of the above... Am not in a relationship right now... If something comes from this beyond friendship, so much the better... But for now I will just play it by ear and maybe make a friend or two... Or several... I am, coincidentally, conversing with a member here, and so far we have found a few commonalities... Had been a member of a couple other sites over the past couple years, but they proved to be too tedious and I got tired of messaging people who had no interest in actually pursuing any kind of relationship... Wonder if some of them just liked having a bunch of guys/girls paying attention to them... Whatever... And then there are the ones from across the country/out of the country... Really?

Hoping to meet friends in Dallas since I know nobody. Need someone to go to movies and dine out with at least. Key word: friendship.

As long as you're upfront about that, I'm sure you can find what you're looking for. But, in that case, it's all about attraction. So it will be better to put up a picture.

I was here to meet someone to date. But, I've found out that there really are no active local people on here, so I have stuck around for the forums. I've been able to meet a few awesome people in person and hope to continue doing that when possible.

Forums really. Much as I would like to meet someone I work afternoons and evenings and my weekends are precious to me. My hours of work will change in the next few months to daytime hours when early summer comes but till then I just use email and forums on here.
